Carlos suffers from cognitive disturbances caused by eridium poisoning. He behaves impulsively, and during the worst episodes, he experiences hallucinations. These are mainly violet-blue shadows figures and voices. From the outside, you can tell when an episode begins by his gloominess and the fact that his irises turn violet. Also his partner was killed during an attempt to hijack a train cargo in Lynchwood. Since then, he’s been reluctant to return to that area and blames himself for what happened. The situation isn’t helped by the recurring flashbacks to that event in his foggy memory, from which he can’t easily break free.

A pony from my AU that never really came together fully, but I like his design. His name is Broken Star, and he’s the son of Luna and Discord. After the magic of chaos was banished from the kingdom, Star never left the palace, so he grew up very shy and didn’t know how to fit in with the other ponies. Just a little goofball <3
