Super Smash Headcanons

Sometimes, Toon Link and Luigi will switch hats for the fun of it.

Toon Link and Luigi get along well, partly because Luigi reminds Toon Link of Linebeck in some ways.

Lucina: Wait, what’s the difference?

Simon: Richter, you’ve literally never touched mary-jane in your life.

Richter: Get with the times old man.

Dark Samus and Ridley will put aside their differences to commandeer the best home theater system for monster/horror movie marathons.

Dark Samus of enjoys many bad or experimental films that tried to do something different or give the monster characterization, such as H.R Giger’s Species. (She made  strange noises during Alien Resurrection that others suspect may have been sobbing.)

Ridley prefers high production giant monster movies and slashers.

Other frequent attendants include Ness and Bowser Jr (when the movie isn’t too mature), the Inklings, Sonic, and Snake.

When the other smashers want to distract Dark Samus from wandering around and going through people’s stuff, they put on ballet videos.

That’s their dynamic in Smash Bros headcanons for me. 

Dark Samus to Ridley is like the dealer for a drug you’ve sworn off.

Dark Pit is secretly insecure about his status as Pit’s copy. He feels like an individual person separate from Pit and wants to believe he is, but he sometimes feels insecure due to the number of people referring to him as a copy.

Marth always knits his “wrapping paper” out of yarn whenever wrapping gifts because the one time he tried to use actual wrapping paper he covered the entire thing in tape and got covered in torn wrapping paper and tape himself.

Ness: What?

Inkling Girl: Lmayo.

Sheik admires Zelda’s bold spirit and her quick-thinking tactical mindset. Sometimes they jokingly wonder if this Zelda got the Triforce of Wisdom or the Triforce of Courage.
