I sewed a Lestat tribute outfit
I was so taken with the monochrome blouse that Lestat wears in The Vampire Lestat First Look trailer (first shown at SDCC in July) that I went and recreated it. Others identified it as a current season Haiden Ackerman blouse, so I found high res photos and recreated the repeating print using Photoshop and Illustrator, which I then got printed onto 2m of silky fabric.
I used my favorite Named "Saraste" shirt pattern, but lengthened the sleeves by 8cm so the cuffs would poke out the ends of my existing black blazer.
You can't see what he's wearing below the table (fishnets? a tutu? who knows!), so I opted to make some pleather trousers as a tribute to the red sude jeans he wears in other TVL promo... and because I already had a meter of dark red stretch pleather in my stash anyway.
