Christmas is about the birth of Jesus Christ.
He was born to save us.
He was born so we can receive God's Gift.
[Luke 2:11]
11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
But what is He saving us from?

23a For the wages of sin is death;
[Romans 3:23]
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
[1 John 1:10]
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Life is uncertain...
[James 4:14]
14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

27 Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.
...but God gave us a reason not to worry. He gave us a gift.

23b but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Christ was born to die for our sins.

8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Confess your sins and trust that Christ is your Saviour. That is how you can receive God's gift.

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
He is the only way to God. He is the only way to salvation.

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Pray. Admit that you are a sinner and accept Christ as your Savior and God will save you.
