Body-kun: Introduction
I ordered Gray-kun and Orange-kun from two different sellers on Amazon, but they both arrived on the same day. Rather than using them as drawing reference, I mostly found myself putting them in stupid poses and texting pictures to my sister. And thus, this blog was born.

HOW MUCH DID THEY COST I WANT
Retail price in US dollars from bandaionline.com is $31.21 for orange, 39.70 for black, and 58.90 for gray. (Gray comes with a stand and lots of extra hands and accessories, while the other two only come with a few alternate hands.) They were being sold as preorders with a limit of 2 per customer if I recall, but unfortunately, all three of them are out of stock for now.
You can still find them on Amazon and some other sites, but be careful because some of the other Japanese toy/model sites you’ll find are outright scammers, and some sellers like you’ll find on Amazon look kind of like scalpers who are reselling the figs for much higher than retail. I did get mine off Amazon from someone selling them a little higher than retail but not high enough to make me mad. Just be sure to do some background searching on any store or seller you haven’t bought from before!
FYI, the October re-release of the figures is still in stock at bandaionline.com, but the prices have changed from the first release. The cheapest is now a pale orange body-kun with the same accessories as the gray dx set for 46.66. Gray with accessories is now 81.65. You can find them cheaper from some other retailers, but as I said before, beware of scammers.
I do see a difference in quality and durability between Orange-kun and Gray-kun. Orange’s joints are a bit flimsier and get loose faster. Something to keep in mind.
(On a side note, I’ll probably hit 5000 followers within the next couple of weeks, and I juuuuuust might have something special planned for y’all…….. :D)
