still breathing hard, keith spotted an unknown girl watching him. he didn’t like the feel of a stranger looking at him and gave her what he hoped was an angry gaze. considering the state he was in, though, he knew it didn’t have much heat behind it. keith pushed himself to his feet and walked over to where she sat. “did you need something?”

He was glaring at her? What did she do?! She tried not to lose her temper (and slowly failing) and found herself glaring back at him. “Why do you presume I need something from you? Humans sure are self centered it seems like.” Well most humans the gem had encountered at least.

He shook his head and she spoke again. “Nah, that’s alright. Maybe just get some sleep so you don’t fall onto someone who’s not as nice.” He assured with a small rise and fall of his shoulders.
