I was excited because we're getting new people in the store, Natalie was supposed to close tonight. But Mailie texted me and said that she cant come in today and nearly roped me into a double, and im just so DONE. Theres only one other person here who puts in a shred of effort and shes not even the store owner. I just wanted to get through my two weeks with no incident, but instead im dealing with the same bullshit I was getting weeks ago when I was constantly getting called in on my days off. I haven't had a break in 6 days, going on 7 days tomorrow, and im sick of it!!! Im angry, and tired

It doesnt seem like its really been a good day for any of my other friends either and while im normally able to get in the groove and help them out in the venting channel its just too taxing on me today. I cant do anything without getting upset

Even at customers!! Its been harder and harder to keep a cheery face for customers, and I can feel myself gritting my teeth whenever they come through the door even though theyve done nothing wrong

Im just so tired and sick of this place. I want to be home. I want to sleep in. I want to play my games, I want to have a life outside of being this store owner's barista bitch because shes too lazy to run the store herself. I want people to be reliable and I want to have days off where I dont have to ignore my phone in fear that theyre going to call me in

And I know its coming so, so soon. But ive just never been more sick and tired of the way I get treated here and the way my coworkers blow off their positions.

You literally took this position because you said you could, Natalie. I dont know what reason you had to cancel. Maybe it was a good one and im just mad for the sake of being mad. But good god, if youre going to commit, then fucking commit. Youre young but youre not a kid anymore. Stop shirking your responsibilities.
