     kat  comes  to  a  quick  halt  upon  feeling  the  warmth  around  her  leg  ,  giggling  as  she  lifts  little  one  up  to  wrap  ‘round  her  side  instead  .  with  kiss  to  his  forehead  ,  she  hums  against  his  skin  .  “  good  morning  ,  my  love  .  “  with  a  bounce  in  step  ,  kat  leads  nero  to  plop  on  the  couch  with  her  .  “  did  you  sleep  well  ?  i’ll  make  you  breakfast  !  “

     “  dante  ,  don’t  ...  wait  ,  what  did  he  break  now  ?  “  a  sigh  .  back  for  5  minutes  ,  and  she  already  feels  like  the  mom  .

     “  have  you  really  ?  “  kat  smiles  ,  slowly  shaking  head  in  disbelief  .  he  can  be  so  dramatic  when  it  comes  to  her                  silly  as  it  may  sound  at  times  ,  it’s  cute  thinking  he  missed  her  so  much  .  “  wait  ,  who  ?  dante  ,  i  can’t  lock  them  away  just  for  that  ...  but  ,  maybe  i  can  talk  to  her  .  “  she’s  not  sure  what  she  missed  .  though  she  rolls  her  eyes  ,  groaning  at  his  s  word  whispering  ,  kat  can’t  hold  down  the  laughter  .  “  you  don’t  have  to  call  it  that  ,  there’s  no  one  here  .  “

     she’s  not  exactly  busy  ,  but  he  still  manages  to  catch  her  off  guard  .  face  buried  in  her  newest  book  ,  kat  jumps  at  the  sound  ,  shoulders  jolting  upwards  ...  ironically  ,  like  a  scared  kitten  .  it  takes  no  time  to  relax  ,  however  ,  as  his  joking  tone  and  string  of  catcalls  leave  her  giggling  and  setting  book  aside  .  “  dork  ...  you  scared  me  .  “  arms  wrap  around  his  shoulders  ,  cheeks  red  as  kisses  dot  her  skin  .  “  i  was  reading  .  but  ...  it’s  not  really  holding  my  attention  .  did  you  just  get  back  ?  “
