hc: sportacus has a bad day and robbie pulls off a scheme to “kidnap” him, when really he just takes him to the lair, tucks him into a pile of blankets and lets him Rest. meanwhile robbie, being the Big Softie he is, puts on the sportacus disguise and keeps the kids busy and out of trouble.
he even does the bing bang dance in sportacus’ place (and has a lot of fun, but he will never admit it).
Alright, so…. here he is– Sportacrime. It’s a body type / alignment swap AU I was working on with @fuzzynat The town is unnamed, I haven’t finished designing AU!Robbie yet, and I haven’t redesigned any of the kids either, but I do have a few notes…
Sportacrime (íþróttirglæpa) is the town villain. He is a cat burglar who is way into parkour, healthy food, and causing trouble for Robbie. He likes to make Robbie chase him around. Robbie is fast, but Sporty is faster. The town hero, Robbie Ripped, (Glanni Gegnheill) is a giant beefy softy who likes wearing makeup and dresses and loves to bake sugary treats for the kids. He’s always trying to get Sportacrime to leave town, but for some reason, that lanky little rascal just won’t go away. What, does he LIKE him or something?
I made character profiles for them both on charahub, but they aren’t finished yet…

Sportacus and Robbie actually both know how to drive a car. Sportacus is a speed demon and tends to go 10 to 20 miles over the speed limit without even realizing half the time and actually got ticketed a few times.
Robbie on the other hand is the opposite and drives SLOW. when people honk at him to go faster, he slows down even more out of pure spite. He goes slow because stopping means getting out and up, and Robbie likes sitting in the car and not moving too much.
Sport rode with Robbie while he was driving once and his slowness drove Sportacus INSANE
I saw a post before that had the idea of a roadtrip with the gang. So not only are there five children bickering or singing or just being very noisy in the back, but if Sportacus is driving then Robbie is bracing himself against the dashboard the whole time complaining. “You’re going to kill us all!”
“We’re fine, Robbie. Oh, Ziggy, don’t eat that in the car, wait until we stop.”
“EYES ON THE ROAD!”
And then when it’s Robbie’s turn to drive, Sportacus keeps bouncing in the seat and fidgeting. “Can you pull over real quick, Robbie?”
“We just used the bathroom at the last rest stop.”
“I just really need to do a flip right now.”
“Absolutely not.”
“Okay,” And then Sportacus turns to the kids. “Kids, never do what I’m about to do.” AND THEN SPORTACUS JUST CLIMBS OUT THE WINDOW AND STARTS DOING ACROBATICS ON THE ROOF UNTIL ROBBIE PULLS OVER TO YELL AT HIM. “I wasn’t in any danger, Robbie! There was barely even a breeze due to how slow you were going!”
can we all agree that sportacus driving would be objectively horrifying?? i mean, maybe that’s because i’ve read the translation of leikfimitími where (depending on how you interpret it) ITHRO PROBABLY ALMOST KILLS ALL THE KIDS IN A CAR CRASH WHILE DRIVING THEM TO GO SKIING, but yeah
