Elliot sighed as they laid curled up on the bed. It was still early morning but Danny had already left to go get the bakery ready. Elliot tugged the purple sheet further over their body and ignored the morning light. What they couldnât ignore was the smell of their favorite coffee. Uncurling they sat up in bed and saw that their peach was leaning against the rooms doorframe with a mug of presumably coffee in her hand.Â
Stepping into the room Danny headed over to Elliotâs side of the bed and placed the mug into Elliotâs waiting hands while pressing a kiss to their cheek. She sat down next to Elliot and waited for them to wake up enough before speaking.
âMorning spooks, how did you sleep?â She leaned against her boo and pulled the sheet so that it surrounded the two of them.Â
âAmazingly, all my dreams were about you my peach.â They nudged Danny with their shoulder and smiled at her âShouldnât you be downstairs?â
Danny laughed and took the mug from Elliot who reluctantly parted with it. âNormally I would butâ she said the last part in a sing-songy voice âtoday is special. Itâs the anniversary of when we first met at that coffeeshop.â They both laughed remembering how their friend Teshi had made it very clear that Danny was interested in Elliot. Danny fell back onto the bed and pulled Elliot down with her. After some rearranging they laid facing each other on their bed.Â
âNormally Iâd say something sappy but I donât want to make you too pinkâ Danny teased.
Elliot let out a laugh âYouâre the pink one, Iâm pretty sure that ghosts canât blush."Â
"Are you sure about that?â Danny replied with a smirk âWhat about our first kiss? Iâm pretty sure that you were very pink after, it looked nice against all the purple you wear.â Elliot laughed and they snuggled closer together.
âWhat about the time you saw my ex? You got so petty to him, it was hilarious Danny.â Elliot let out an adorable chuckle as Danny pouted.Â
âHe was awful and needed to see that you were more than moved on from him. Itâs not my fault that he found us making outâŚtwice."Â
"So youâre saying that it wasnât a grand plan between you and Belle to get revenge for me?"Â
"Hush Spooks.â Danny pecked Elliot on the lips before giving into laughter. âYou have to admit his face was hilarious.â Elliot just shook their head while smiling.Â
âHow did I deserve you?â Elliot asked to a still giggling Danny.Â
âApparently peaches have a thing for ghosts, who knew.â
