The first thing you noticed was the shriek in your muscles, sharp and loud pain radiating throughout your extremities. Adjusting your eyes, you glaced around the room for any sign life— God you were tired. You found yourself laying in was one of the medical rooms inside HQ, small white walls lit with a window overlooking the ocean waves. Nothing remarkable, incredibly dull.

The entire length of your body was adorned with bandages, almost as if a medal of good service to the rescue mission you and Sabo had completed the other night. Unfortunately for you, you couldn't make it out unscathed, and ended up receiving immense injuries.

Before you got a chance to call out for someone Koala walked in, the obvious glow of relief glossing over her face as she looked you over.

"Y/N you're awake!"

She offered you a warm smile. You returned a much more exhausted one.

"Koala, what happened? Where is Sabo is he ok?"

You gestured to the bed you currently sat in— then to the dressings on your arms.

"Ah— Sabo is fine! You shouldn't even worry about that dunce."

She let out a long sigh.

"In truth I'm surprised I got to you before he did, you've been out for a day or two and he's been insufferable."

Despite the pang in your ribs you let yourself laugh at her emphasis, you were well aware of how Sabo was probably acting right now— He has a touch for the dramatic if nothing else.

You couldn't help your mind from wandering, opting to turn your head and stare out at the ocean below you— Running your fingers over a scar that ran deeper than the others, you felt almost guilty for letting yourself get so hurt. After checking to make sure you were ok, Koala took this as her time to let you rest. Quietly dismissing herself from your room.

You sat there and watched the sun fall, a beautiful glow of gold filling your once bleak room. Just then, you heard a soft knock at the door. With a soft exhale you turned to locate the sound, preparing yourself to be met with Dragon. Surely he'd come here to lecture you on being reckless.

Instead you were met with your boyfriend. A much happier fate. His big boy boyish smile greeted you— the rays of light now reaching his tousled blonde hair.

He stood in your doorway dressed in a pair of comfortable sweatpants and a loose shirt— His left arm was in a sling, but besides a few cuts and bruises he looked unharmed. It seems no matter how banged up he might be his smile would never fade for you, an easy reminder of your boyfriend's empathetic nature.

His eyes examined you, noting every bump, scrape, and burn lay on your skin. His heart shattered seeing you like this, all beat up and spat out. On the other hand, he couldn't help but admire the scene in front of him. You were a fighter, effortlessly strong and dedicated to the cause Sabo grew up under. He had watched you time and time again prove your willingness to protect others, absolutely enamored by your strength.

He was absolutely in love with you.

You watched as his eyes crinkled with a fondness, now suddenly feeling a little shy.

"Have you eaten?"

Sabo spoke up, lifting a small container into your line of sight. You couldn't help but smile with him. Graciously flipping over some of your blanket to make room for him.

"You fought like a warrior out there, I missed you so much."

You rolled your eyes at that, his corniness did not go unmissed.

"Oh you flirt"

He giggled at your abstinence. Kissing your forehead and he took his time getting into bed with you, cautious not to collide into any of your wounds—

Now flush against one another that's how the two of you would remain, sitting and sharing a bowl of ramen he'd brought to share. Feeding you bite for bite with his one free hand.

With the sun fully set and with the noodles set aside you had rubbed your eyes sluggishly, sleep tugging at your mind. Sabo was now cuddled into your side, head resting lightly against the side of your chest— arm wrapped around your core drawing light circles into your skin. You matched the intimacy with a hand in his hair, twirling the locs between your fingers.

Breaking the silence you spoke lightly, just barely audible.

"Thank you for this Sabo."

It was genuine, and you couldn't look at him as you felt your eyes well up. It was rare for you to feel so totally loved like this— Sabo was kind to you, he was level headed and understanding no matter how bad your bite.

"You don't have to thank me for that Y/N, thank you for living."

His hand pulled away from your side and cupped your face, his fingers warm to the touch. He kissed your chest where he laid, snuggling into you further.

The two of you dozed into silence, Sabo falling asleep almost immediately. You watched him close, listening to his quiet mumbles— Sleep talking wasn't an entirely new habit, and you always found it endearing to know what he was dreaming about.

At the end of the day your scars still hurt and your muscles still ached, except now Sabo next to you. His body warmth a comforting force against your side, you could stay like this forever. Part of you knows that he feels the exact same.

Trafalgar Law

The quiet hum of the polar tang fills your ears, and slowly eases you out of slumber. Your blankets strategically wrapped around your cozy body— peeling open your eyes gives you a good look of your current surroundings.

You were in Law's quarters instead of your own— which was no real surprise. This is where you have been finding yourself more and more recently. The submarine was still submerged in the ocean, giving the room a gentle glow of sunlight as opposed to the harsh bright morning sun the earth must be feeling right now.

Turning your head slightly you are met with Law's bare back, hair wild and messy from his own restlessness.

Being awake before Law was also no real surprise. Your captain never truly gives himself a chance to relax, and before you two became lovers he had a horrible habit of pulling all nighters.

A habit you quickly put an end to.

Traffy now fully entrusts his sleep schedule to you, as your presence alone gives him a reason to settle down at night, and wake up in the morning.

As early as it was, you knew you needed to be the one to wake your boyfriend, as a captains duty never truly sleeps.

Quietly you press a light hand to the small of his back, noting the way his spine feels against your fingers.

"Lawww... We have to get up.."

You whispered, trying your best to rouse him gently.

This earned you a low grunt from Law, obviously opposed to greeting the busy day ahead of him. You smile— pressing light kisses to his shoulder blades.

Your fingers glide from his waistline up to his prominent back tattoo, tracing over the ink like you've done so many times before.

This has become a habit of yours as well, there is something so mesmerizing about outlining the bold strokes of pigment on his skin— the first time you traced his tattoos over the fabric of his clothing his heart swelled, how could anyone do such a thing? You had taken the time to learn him.

As much as you loved this silent routine with Law, the two of you really did need to get out of bed. So you shifted, kisses now reaching up to the nape of his neck. Once you were fully sat up you kissed his cheek— causing him to exhale, fully relaxed, completely smitten.

"Promise you'll get out of bed, Law"

The tired affection that laced your voice dragged him out of his stupor, rubbing his face as the weight from your side of the bed eased.

You had gotten up to start coffee for you both, Law—being the man he is, has a coffee machine already set up on his desk.

You've worked yourself into his routine so perfectly it was hard for the doctor to even notice, as if you've been there forever, you had effortlessly adapted to his every quirk and flaw. Loving him unconditionally.

Now his room has bits and pieces of you in it, perfectly blended into his style— next to his coffee mug sits your own, perfectly you.

Law would die a hundred times to experience these mornings with you, conveniently for him he doesn't have too—because you wouldn't want to wake up anywhere else.

Firefist Ace

The first thing you notice is the heat, and a heavy weight pressing you further into your mattress. No doubt this was your partner Ace, he had a habit of being a huge cuddle bug.

Blinking your eyes open you see him, the notorious Fire Fist Ace passed out across your stomach, slightly drooling— both arms wrapped protectively around your core. The beams of morning light scream against his features, illuminating him in a warm glow. Words couldn't describe how beautiful you found him, his dark wavy hair spilling across your ribs.

As sweet as this was, Ace's body was HOT. Combined with the summer morning and his devil fruit power, you found yourself getting uncomfortably warm— Skin to skin cuddling like this was a blessing in the cold and a curse in the tropical heat you now faced.

Freeing your hand you began to scratch his back, hoping the sensation could catch his attention.

"Acee, get offfff"

Rubbing his back and shaking his shoulder seemed to have little to no effect, as his gentle snoring only continued.

"Ace c'monn now is not the time. You're tooo hott"

Your hand made its way to his head, twirling his hair in another feeble attempt to rouse him.

At this point, you couldn't stay in bed any longer— both because of the heat, and because Marco will come wake you himself, and you cannot face him like this.

Still trapped underneath the body weight of your boyfriend, you began to shift, trying to free yourself. It wasn't until you began to move that Ace woke up, lifting his head to look at you.

"Wah- what's wrong?" Ace yawned, only half coherent.

With no real reason to be annoyed, you started to giggle. Still trapped.

"I've been trying to wake you up for the last hour, you sleep like the dead. You're waayy too warm again."

The dejected look on his face only made you laugh more, he could not have looked more utterly betrayed.

"Sorry.." Rapidly you felt your body start to cool, Ace naturally ran pretty hot— but this was a new level. Feeling him 'shut off' his devil fruit power brought you some pretty instant relief.

Aces head went from looking at you and straight to your stomach once again, falling down with a long sigh from Ace.

A few moments pass.

Then a few more.

"Ace."

He only groaned.

"Ace. We still have to get out of bed come onn"

Your boyfriend was anything but a morning person, so his adamant fight to wake up fully was nothing you, and even the crew hadn't been used to.

Ace pushed himself up and off of you in one motion, but instead of removing himself he opted to straddle your hips instead. Successfully sitting on top of you.

"And what do you think you're doing?" You said, with faux annoyance.

"Since you want to leave me so bad, just let me have this."

Still slightly confused, Ace arched his back to place pecks all over your face. Once again stuck under his body weight you could do nothing but laugh at his goofiness—

"Ace- Marco is gonna be here any minute to yell at us-- you're a division commander you can't spend all day here-"

You somehow managed to squeak out, the attack Ace was committing to your face was unrelenting— leaving you utterly breathless.

Like clockwork, you heard the heavy footsteps of Marco the Phoenix walking towards your bedroom door. Three bold knocks against the door caused you both to freeze. Soon followed by the man's boisterous yell.

"Ace! Let's go! Pops gonna kick your ass if you don't hurry it up!"

After collectively holding your breaths, Marco's footsteps begin trailing away.

Maybe it was time to get out of bed....

Roronoa Zoro

You hadn't meant to fall asleep in the crows nest, after drinking maybe too much sake you found yourself in the arms of your boyfriend Roronoa Zoro. Face pressed into his bare chest, his two strong arms circling you.

Not only were you 100% hung over, a thoughtful reminder from the pounding in your head— but the crow's nest was freezing!

Fluttering your eyes open you look around for any sign of the blanket you brought up last night. Your shirt and pants were gone, probably lost in the mess you two caused a few hours prior.

What had started as sharing drinks and chatting about the night sky turned into ... well... This.

So now left in just your underwear and socks, you shiver against Zoro's chest. Lucky bastard somehow managed to stay clothed in his haramaki—

Your hands only got colder, deciding the best course of action would to— of course, sneak your frigid hands underneath his top and onto his warm skin.

Hands now pressed flush against his ribcage, Zoro stirred awake with a sharp gasp. Eye opening in a slit to look at you.

"God- you're freezing-" Zoro said, blinking away sleep.

Mission success. Zoro was now also awake and chilly, serves him right.

"Yea, no thanks to you."

"Hmmph"

That's most likely true, Zoro huffed to himself. Recognizing the predicament you have both found yourself in.

Then, Zoro slowly glides your hands up his chest— off of the sides of his body and close to his mouth. Cupping your freezing hands with his warm ones, attempting to heat you up with hot air.

After a few seconds he kissed your hands, still close to his lips.

Off to the side Zoro had noticed the recently lost blanket, and after a successful recovery, he wraps you in it. The soft fabric 100% welcomed by your shivering body.

"Go back to bed.. Too early."

Zoro huffed, the added warmth of your body making him drowsy again.

You blinked. Unbelievable.

Despite the ridiculousness of your partner's nonchalant attitude, you decided maybe more sleep couldn't hurt.

Smiling, you pull the blanket tighter around your body— returning to your previous position, laying flat against Zoro's bare chest.

Although you couldn't let him get away with everything, he did this to you after all.

Pressing a kiss to his pec you simultaneously returned your freezing hands to Zoro's sides— now going even further as to hold him in that embrace.

Zoro realized what you were doing too late as he felt a shiver run up his spine. Eventually the chill would shift, and the two of you could comfortably bask in each other's body heat once again.

Sleeping in couldn't hurt.
