About a year ago, my mom told me that I should draw Sponge in drag for Pride Month (she's so real for that). I think that idea secretly wormed its way deep into my brain, because I keep having the intrusive thought of "What if Sponge was a woman?"

Which eventually led me to the thought of "What if Sponge was genderfluid?"

So, uh...

I can't even say that this whole thing isn't for the sole reason that I just kind of wanted to draw Sponge wearing a skirt.
