What can I say about this episode, I love it so much. It's fun, it's original and we finally get to see a wholesome episode where Plankton and Karen are enjoying themselves and being an iconic couple, without that getting ruined somehow.

Also, Suzie Groove is such a cool new character, I love her design. Hips don't lie, lol

It's been a lot while since I last posted here, but it's been a rough year, I had to prepare for a lot of changes in my life, as I'm getting closer to the "adult life". Anyways, the episode. I love the creepy vibe, I love the monochromatic palette, I love the old horror film references. I'm glad Nosferatu got more frequent roles in the show and I like the addition of Slappy as well. Also, the flickering lights joke gave a pinch of nostalgia to the episode, which made my inner child very happy.

I love this episode, for many reasons. 

I love how Plankton seems so harmless compared to his grandma.

I love how, even they are supposed to be enemies with Plankton, Krabs and SpongeBob help him when he needs them.

I love how the first person Plankton asks for help is SpongeBob.

I love how easily Lilly got away with the formula, despite being a 90-year-old, tiny grandma.

I love how Lilly, out of everyone there, fell in love with Squidward.

I love how Plankton actually tried to spend some quality time with Karen (even if once again it got ruined by something interupting it, which for once wasn’t one of Plankton’s scemes, which made it even sadder).

I love how Plankton has his own way in romance (lighting up the candles with a flamethrower, the Ray Ray thing etc.)

But what really made my heart nearly explode, was how happy Plankton looks in this frame:

Another great episode from the modern era. I loved the story, how it teaches you not to judge someone by their looks and how funny and random it was, especially the showdown part and the moment SpongeBob got so anxious, he turned to an actual kitchen sponge. 

Also, I like the little detail with the photo of the hydro-dynamic spatula from the first ever episode on SpongeBob’s wall:

What a beautiful episode. The whole theme was really cute (just like the amoebas) and funny. But what really got to me was how we saw Plankton’s real priorities. Towards the end of the episode, he literally had the formula, but when SpongeBob dropped the rebooting Karen with his eyeball (lol), Plankton ran straight up to her to pick her up and instantly forgot about the formula. Also, in the beggining, when she started rebooting, he lost an argument with her while replying to himself with what she would’ve said if she was working, which shows that he cares about her opinion.

I absolutely adore this episode, it’s very funny and creative. Here are some highlights, because you have to see them:

I can’t get over the scene where SpongeBob enters the bar and everyone turns to snowmen:

this scene that reminds me of “Fear of a Krabby Patty”:

and the tiny clothes that are hanged between his teeth XD

Episodes like this are my favourites instantly, because they add so much to the SpongeBob lore. This one brings a huge amount of important stuff.

As we know, Plankton and Mr. Krabs used to be best friends and turned into enemies over one piece of paper and their fighting never stops, until they have one mutual enemy. That’s when they cooperate and they do pretty well. They are the best frienemies and I’m here for it.

Plankrab is the living proof that if they both weren’t so selfish, they could work together and be even more successful.

He has the best characteristics from both: Mr. Krabs:

He is a good buisnessman.

He is likeable to people/customers.

He is good with words.

Plankton:

He is good in manipulation.

He is good at plotting and can come up with ideas fast.

He is good with his employees.

And he lacks their bad characteristics:

He is not greedy for money like Mr. Krabs.

He is not reckless like Plankton.

I absolutely loved this episode. It was hilarious and there are so many things I want to point out about it, I don’t know where to start.

The fact that Plankton would go to any lengths to get the formula and that includes disguising himself as a bundle of money and trick Krabs into marrying him.

The fact that Krabs loves money so much, he would unironically marry it.

The fact that the two are legaly married.

The fact that Plankton is double-married now.

The fact that Krabs unironically asked Plankton if he really felt nothing after all this.

The fact that nobody suspected Cashina, nobody found her odd.

The fact that Plankton really managed to get Pearl to like him and also had a “girl talk” with her. 

You know what? I really wanna get annoyed by the fact that Plankton is so hot and cold with Karen, but I can’t. He blames her for his own faults, they fight, she leaves/ kicks him out and in the end he gets away with just being fucking adorable. He throws the puppy face, says a few nice things and boom, he is now forgiven. But I can’t get mad at him, because that’s really how he feels. He is so selfish, he won’t ever take the responsibility of his errors, which leads to them fighting, but when he realizes how much he needs her, he completely changes, even if that’s not forever.

BONUS: I found "Umm, listen sweetie, I'm sorry about what I said. Truth is, I could never replace you, honeybunch. Let's go home, hun?" extremely adorable.

In “SB-129″, Squidward got frozen for 2000 years and unfroze on March 6th, 4017. Today is March 6th, so it felt like a good time to post this. All photos, except for the 2nd (which is from Spongebob’s Instagram), are screenshots from my 2007 DVD, to add a bit nostalgia to the image. As you can see, some photos are screenshots merged together to make one complete image, because I think it looks prettier this way. This was one of my favourite episodes as a child and still is. I can’t believe this belongs to the first season...
