Vampi can handle a bullet to her brain, actually. It’s awful, traumatic, and it will take her more than a couple of hours to come back, but she can. The question is, does she want to risk it? If this were the average human guy, she’d be able to break his wrist before he pulls the trigger. But this one? She’s not so confident.
So, she decides to back out. Closes her mouth, and tries to smile as nicely as possible at this very tense moment without just baring teeth.
“Oh, oops. I’m so sorry.” She’s portraying lucidity now, rather than the whole mindless murder look; trying to be downright sheepish. With that – not moving her hands, or doing anything alarming – she cautiously attempts to push herself off of him, minding the gun. “I must’ve gotten you confused with somebody else. Let me just…”
‘ CUT THE ACT ’ he squirms away , heels digging into the ground and sliding himself away . FEAR IS MASKED ‘ i put this down for a s e c o n d and you’ll be at my throat again . ’ he had plenty of experience with double crossing and turning a blind eye . . . he wasn’t letting her get off so quickly . not after trying to kill him OR WORSE . ‘ you got some explaining to do before i even THINK about letting you go . ’
