I'm gonna be honest, I'm a little scared to post this one, but ya only live once.

I headcanon that all slenderbeings are hermaphrodites, or at least those without some sort of genetic deformity. For those that may not know, a hermaphrodite is someone who has both male and female genitalia. As such, they have less of a concept of gender than we do, and their natural language (Whatever it may be) doesn't even have gendered pronouns.

Having said that, I do think some may have preferences for what genders they are referred to as in the english language (and other gendered languages). Splendorman {*coughthebelovedcough*] I don't think has much of a preference, so long as you're comfortable calling him what you call him. Most people default to he, and he doesn't care.

Don't have visible breasts unless they bear children.

Splendor's bells, first and foremost, are attached completely to his tendrils. Removing them would cause him significant pain. Secondly, he was not born with them. They were originally normal bell decorations, but I think Splendor sewed them on when he was a kid for some reason or another. Eventually, his tendrils ended up growing around where they connected, so they're completely attached.

They gained their semi-sentience after extended direct exposure to Splendor's blood, over a few decades. They are not fully aware, though, and only act in response to Splendor's feelings.

Splendorman has his own 'territory', which is a pretty and well kept forest. He tends to it himself, when he has the spare time that is, to ensure there isn't anything harming the trees or the animals.

His territory is often referred to as the rainbow forest. Why? Because plenty of the smaller plants- not the trees- have an unnaturally wide array of colours. That is to say, they are literally rainbow plants.

Splendor can actually sense the emotions of other people, or even 'feel' them to some degree.

His bells can imitate any sound, not just emit the sound of bell ringing. He often uses this ability to play little lullaby tunes.

On the topic of his bells, they are semi-sentient. They react in response to his emotions, so if he's frightened or angry they will hiss and show sharp teeth. He can't control this, and finds it mildly irritating when they do it.
