i think with how inconsistent and whatnot warrior cats is you can definitely au/headcanon/interpret your way into a lot of different scenarios but between shadowclan-dovewing and thunder-clan dovewing thunderclan-dovewing is just so much more boring

i enjoy the idea that dovewing has more complicated feelings towards thunderclan and firestar/jayfeather/lionblaze specifically and would be hesitant to continue being around them, and the dynamic of dovewing being the prophesized angel child & ivypool being the troublesome/troubled dark forest trainee into -> ivypool becoming deputy of thunderclan due to her loyalty and dovewing being a 'code-breaking clanswapper' is fun to think about
