I drew this for one of my best friends for his birthday, and the "self-head shooting" refers to how he was playing Persona 3 for me at the time. Casper is my dog, Scooter is his dog, and Pandora was my first pet jumping spider. She's passed now, but I would check on her and talk about her every day at the time.
Also, the lightbulb head is me! That's my current persona.

Here's a preview of the art style I went with.
Here are two of my older OCs, Collin (left) and Eileen, who have this kind of confusing relationship. Collin was adopted by Eileen's dad when he and Eileen were young, and thus they grew up together, and they've been uncertain whether to call each other friends or siblings. Either way, when the two of them get older, Eileen realizes they're genderfluid and they make a lot of effort to present differently each day (he's masc in this picture). Meanwhile, Collin has developed romantic feelings for her and is confused about both his sexuality and the aforementioned question of whether this is even "right". DOES he view Eileen as a sibling or only a friend? Is it more complicated than that? Can it have changed? And so on. I think it's super interesting and I might try to write a short story about them sometime!
I started drawing this when episode 1 came out, but I never finished it, so here it is! I thought it would be fun to draw my asshole and Goose's asshole interacting. The TV man is from my in-development videogame, Reboots Aren't Real. Oh, and the higher quality censor bar was put together by Rafdelaselva on Reddit.
I'm tired of being mistreated and then gaslit about it. They always, always get away with it. No matter what I say, it's "inappropriate" or "disrespectful" and therefore invalid. There is no compromise. I can only pretend (badly) that I've been convinced, and then repeat the cycle again.
This is a vent, and I like to use Kibitzer as a vessel for vents because they're easy and fun to draw and they feel so deeply that I can reach out through them. So I guess they are me in this picture specifically, especially because they have pupils here. xD

Deltarune chapter 3 spoilers (final boss) + some blood under the cut
I heard a delicious cover of Black Knife and wanted to draw my OC Kibitzer happy to be stabbed by The Roaring Knight. x'3

Genuinely, though. When I think about it, Deltarune is the main reason I'm working on my own videogame today. I could go on and on about how that is, but for now I'll simply list 3 major things:
Kibitzer's name, chosen to match the game theme of Card Kingdom.
The prototype concept for my game, which has since been altered quite a bit, but there are remnants left.
Both times I ever tried (2nd time committed) to make my own videogame, I did it because Toby Fox makes games that seem actually doable even to someone as clueless about code as me. I can make pixel move! So I did.
Now I'm developing a pixel adventure featuring Kibitzer, a silly green person who lives in a hole in a purple forest and goes on a journey to rid themself of a curse that plagues them with memories of their own death. Guiding them is a manipulative asshole named Quincell, whose head is a TV, because fuck yeah I made my "Mike" fan design into an original character. What else was I gonna do with it??
Here's to chapters 3 and 4 of Deltarune, in which I will finally discover who Toby Fox's TV head is and no doubt be plunged into an intense hyperfixation that will halt progress on my own game for months! xP
And here's to Kibitzer, whose story I can't WAIT to tell. 💚
[Spoilers for the Purrfect Apawcalypse trilogy]
I think Patches deciding to change would have hurt a lot worse than we see in PA3. The years of feeling entitled to the violence he's committed only for him to finally encounter a new world view that he has to judge and act on.
Had a meltdown yesterday, so I think that means it's time for an update! 8D
I had writer's block for a good bit, but I finally found a new method that REALLY helps me get the juices flowing. (It's not drugs xP)
Finished making the entire prologue playable! Not to be confused with section 1, which... I guess includes the prologue? Or doesn't. Either way, that took a long time, so I'm pausing here to indulge in some of the detail work.
Speaking of detail work, here's one of that! Kibitzer is a bit younger in this scene, and this fellow talking to them is Randolph, who is very important to them. :} :} :}
The prologue consists of 5 scenes from Kibitzer's past, and it took me about 13 minutes to play through it while allowing the text to appear at its normal speed and reading at my normal mental speed.

Bringin' back the classic Homestuck Sprite Base with Kibitzer for 4/13! I drew the hair, glasses, mouth, tail, and edited the body a lil bit. The rest is from bases.

So as soon as I saw the Vander reunion scene tbh, I thought of this shot (under the cut) from Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul (which is an absolutely incredible movie btw, but is a continuation of season 1, so don't start with it). I didn't know for certain that Isha was going to die, but I know I wanted to draw this once I saw her fate.
I didn't end up finishing it, though. Just got tired of looking at it. I find most of the characters here look stiff to me because I'm not used to Arcane's art style at all and I got burnt out. But might as well share what I did get done, which is the full sketch, so that's neat I think.

Happy new year, everyone!
I'm attempting a resolution to start prioritizing development on this game a lot more than I have been. I want to get it in a state where it can at least have a demo and a trailer.
I am finally starting to feel like I've got the main story figured out. I think of the story as 6 sections, though I can't say how long any of them are yet. I have scripted almost all of the first section and a little bit of the second.
When I've fully scripted all of section 1, I'm interested in creating an extremely rough, unpolished draft of the section as gameplay so I might have an idea of how long it takes to play through, but we'll see how long it takes me to even do that haha. This will only be for beta testing anyhow.
I still have such a massive amount of work to finish, but I'm going to try my best to be more consistent in my output and thus finish the game before I die in a reasonable amount of time!
Other things I want to do soon, writing here so I'm extra motivated to do them:
Draw Kibitzer at various ages as they'll appear in the game (mostly at the beginning and in flashbacks/dreams).
Finally give Quincell his own sprites and maybe introduce him properly.
Scribble rough ideas of what every location will look like so it's at least close to possible to envision what Kibitzer does in later sections.
I have this little animation of Kibitzer and Quincell that I've been working on and sort of took a break from. I want to finish that! It's just for fun, won't appear in the game, but the world deserves to see it!
Get WAY more writing done than I did last year. Hell, I think a year is more than enough time to finish the entire script.
I saw some cute drawings of OCs wearing shirts that said "I can't afford a house" and "I cry all the time", so I made a loosely-inspired picture as an excuse to draw Kib looking EXTRA cute + an alt without the background Kib and one with tears.
