two worlds apart ( closed : jude )
Uwah, such a great break he was having. He had had a lot of appointments on that day, and a break was needed, honestly. Thanks god he didn’t have another person wanting to see him soon…well, that was the job which he chose to get, right? He was already expecting that.
He looked at the sheet over his table. He would have two appointments left on that day, and by the time that they would consult the person who needed a doctor, he had time to get something to drink.
Leaving the usual room which he worked in, he went to the reception and hoped to get something to make him relax from the work. Not that he was really tired, though, but taking a break is always good, isn’t it? He was thinking in going to the waiting room, too, until he had to work again.
He got some coffee, and went to the waiting room. He was expecting to have a normal day of work again, but that expectation wasn’t going to take too long to be broken by a certain someone, who in the moment that he walked in, he couldn’t let his amber eyes look at somewhere else. Could it be…
"…Milla?"
"Jude,"
The name easily rolls off her tongue as Milla stands up from her seat. Taking quick, long strides over to him, she leans forward a little and rests her fingers on her chin as she gives him a look over. It looked like he had matured a bit, but not too much that it was hard to recognize him as the Jude she knew.
Standing up straight, she furrows her brows a little and gives a few nods to herself. "He has, hasn't he..." she murmured to herself and her eyes drifted off to the side for a second. It doesn't take her long to collect herself and be able to look Jude in the face again.
In fact, the corner of her lips lifted up a little as a smile appeared. It felt good to be able to see Jude again, even if the situation is a strange one and she felt 'lost' when it came to a few of her new worried. But, she refused to let any of that show on her face. All she wished for him to see is the happiness.
"It is nice to see you again, Jude. I hadn't expected to see anyone from our world here so it's comforting to know that I'm not alone." In more ways than one, too.
