M I S F I T S

She allows herself to be moved, and watches as he works with a certain precision. There's a small jump that comes with the way his mouth closes, and she has to wonder why he does that at all. But she doesn't care enough to ask.

HE DOESN'T TYPICALLY LIKE having someone else in the restaurant with him. there's a certain comfort in the solitude-- on top of the fact that most people in his position don't survive five hours let alone five nights. but there is something different about rain being at his side instead of a disrespectful teen looking to make a quick buck.

colton nods, moving to dig through the rusty old toolbox sitting on the edge of the stage. "y-- yes." in a movement far too smooth to be natural, he hoists himself onto the stage, shifting onto his knees before standing and offering a hand down.

HE WISHES HE COULD SAY that was an unexpected reaction. if trevor had a nickel for every time someone's stripped in front of him while he's holding a blade, let's just say that he'd likely be able to retire. and now begs the question--

what is he to do with THIS?

and she goes along with it, not sure what she's trying to prove. shirt is pulled over her head, and tossed to the side. aside from the bra that she's got on, (a small one that she really doesn't need to wear, she just likes the pink lace), her chest is adorned with plenty of scars of her own.

HE DOESN'T BOTHER LOOKING UP at the hasty rustling of clothing, cracking a smile instead as he inspects the blade that rests in his darkened fingertips. after deeming his work suitable, trevor turns around, briefly looking her over. "cute bra, but i'm not sure pink is your color."

“ i'm not  looking  at  you  like  anything! ” scamp lets out a sleepy chuckle as he leans his weight against the doorframe. had he been staring? he can't be sure. the sight of the sleeping assassin had come as a surprise when scamp had returned from his shower, and so the thief taken his chance to enjoy the rare sight.

“ it's just...  you're  still  here. ” he smiles softly, pushing damp curls out of face, revealing his flushed features which he'll INSIST is a side-effect from the heat of the shower. “   i didn't want to wake you. you looked peaceful, for a change. ”

THE TALON DIDN'T OFTEN REWARD HIMSELF-- even with something as simple as sleeping in. but last night had been long and filled to the brim with guilt, and for the first time in quite a while, trevor couldn't bear the thought of returning to his own apartment. ALONE.

he'd returned to OLIVER'S APARTMENT instead. "so i am." a smile tugs at his lips, trevor rolling over onto his side and pulling back the covers in hopes that the blonde would join him. these moments of peace were so rare what with both their lines of work. (maybe his more so than oliver's.)
