It also deeply bothers me how many people pull the "okay now ask the average African American how they feel about gay and trans people" as a gotcha, to try to act as though Black people specifically hate and are oppressing queer and trans people (and as if we just, AREN'T those things too).

I hope you find the girl that memorizes your favorite everything and gives it to you as a "just because" gift. I hope you find the girl that loves and comforts you on your lowest days and makes the best days even better. I hope you find the girl that wants to dance with you in the light of the moon or in the middle of your kitchen. I hope you find the girl that kisses you softly and loves every last part of you.
