I really like that we see her obsessive side in this au, such a good way to get audiences to look back at old mizisua scenes in a different light, but I'm left with a single question. What's the root cause of it this time?

In alnst, it was for a few reasons, but the main one was that mizi was a ball of sunshine in a really dark environment. their love was a safe bubble in their unsafe world, and both of them wanted to stay in that bubble even if it hurt them. This dynamic is still present given Candy Scar's lyrics, but there's no aliens to own human pets for entertainment this time.

mizi has some backstory crumbs, mainly the scene with her possible mother. if that parent-child relationship is anything like shine-mizi in alnst, there's already a foundation (maybe a more aggressive version given the bruise on baby mizi's cheek). but sua has nothing even though we know her family dynamics in alnst.

Maybe I'm waiting too much, and it's just my imagination, but it seems to me that in the first art, there's a feeling that Mizi seems to be avoiding Sua's touch. Which makes it possible to make interesting suggestions, considering what kind of facial expression Sua had in the new comic. And it's obviously the same universe, judging by the clothes.

Maybe I'm really hoping for nothing, but I want this universe to show us the complexity of the relationship of Mizisua, precisely as two opposites. Because no matter how romantic the trope "opposites attract" may sound, in real life, such a scenario will at best work in 2 out of twelve ten cases. And even if it does work, it's not a fact that such a relationship will last long. Yes, even if they last a long time, from experience I can say that in such a relationship at some point you just get tired).

And in my opinion, if the relationship Mizisua were in reality (and if we consider them separately, ignoring that this is a projection of the creators of the project), ignoring their broken projection from the main project, given the details that I wrote above, then in my opinion, this couple would constantly quarrel over too different character, and often got angry/annoyed with each other.

For this reason, I would like, really like, the disclosure of these girls outside of their relationships (especially Sua), as well as how difficult it really is for people with two radically different characters and temperaments to build and maintain long-term relationships.
