Ruby is taking a well deserved nap after our first walk around the neighbourhood. The big world is loud and scary and very different from the garden. A car scared her but she doesn’t seem to mind walking next to or behind my walker so that’s good.

Ruby conquered the hoover

My painkiller and food consumption has increased a lot during the past week due to running after this ferocious beast all around the house but being able to cuddle her is so so worth it <3 She is so soft and warm and also a very clever and kind doggo unless she’s throwing a puppy tantrum. I love her.

The cabinet is covered with wire netting for a reason. The reason has lots of sharp teeth and an insatiable urge to chew on furniture.

Ruby is offended because i wouldn’t let her eat the wire netting that’s around the bookcase because she wouldn’t stop chewing my books

Ruby doesn’t mind wearing a harness, which is great for a puppy who might possibly become a service dog in the future. At only 10 weeks she already recognizes her name and the commands sit, shake hands, lay down, and leave it, although she likes to pretend she has no idea what “leave it” means when she’s chewing on furniture or the human’s ankle. Potty accidents happen if i don’t put my jacket on quickly enough but Ruby knows she is supposed to poop outside. I’m so proud of her!!
