Last night I was banned from Julian Bailey's - the VA behind Sgt. Leland Coyle - discord server. Reason? I am writing fanfiction that is triggering to others and has upset members of the discord where they complained to the mod on there about me.

Now keep a few things in mind:

I have written roughly 10 messages in that server all together cause big servers annoy me and hadn't been active in over a week at that point.

I never ever shared my writing in there.

To find my writing, you'd have to go to my AO3 or on here - both accs are not connected to my discord so you'd have to dig/seek out the content.

Now this is all very strange to me. I get that my works are heavy hitters and require trigger warnings - that's why I put them on there. On AO3 and on here, several warnings.

I also use my works do deal with trauma from the past, including but not limited to parental abuse and SA, and I hate to admit this here in public but it is a way of taking back control. If you have been in a place like this, you know how healing it can be to take back control.

In addition to all of this...this is Outlast Trials. The Evil Ass Rape Game. About a character who in canon has murdered his 3 wives, killed several more people and did even more crime. And obviously molests the mannequins inside his own trial enviroment so I wouldn't put it past him to do things like that to reagents too.

So...???

Is every writer who ever wrote a "bad" fanfiction going to get the boot now? What is the like between okay-ish fanfiction and "bad" fanfiction? Would writing about Coyle jerking off to a mannequin be okay, but if you write about Coyle jerking off to a reagent be "bad"? And what about artists? All rule34 artists are now undesireable? Where is the line?

Now I'd advise people to be careful while active or even lurking in that server cause I am really not sure if it is a bigger problem, if several others got booted or if it's just me? A witch hunt? And even then, why is a single lurker's art a problem? Might be a reach but if you take 10 random people out of that server, I bet at least 1 of them has made NSFW content too, borderlining on DDDNE content.

Even then, it is just fucking weird, especially because I NEVER shared my works on there and people had to actively seek them out. And I repeat, all my works are covered in trigger warnings, so if you seek out content that is triggering you...???

So yeah. Please Coyle writers and artists, especially the Dead Dove creators, take this as a warning.
