All the trainees who are part of the project are brought together to the same room as usual. As promised, while the goal is to form one big group named HEARTZ, each girl will first be introduced through a solo release.
While they stand in a line side by side, their primary coaches form a smaller line in front of them as well. “Good morning,” Kwon Seungkwan greets them once the third month is completed. Bang Boyeon also stands beside him. “We’re here today because the seventh member of HEARTZ has been chosen.” After him, Boyeon continues with the speech. “We and the other coaches analyzed your performances from last month and decided, in unison, who will be the seventh face to show the word under the name of HEARTZ. The girl of the month is… KIM CHUNGHA. Congratulations.” When she starts to clap, the other coaches join along with her.
“This does not mean we’ll completely steal you away from the rest of group—and far from that. Still, you’ll have to focus your attention now on making your debut, and also on making a good impact.”
The concept behind the seventh solo release under HEARTZ will be ‘Singing In The Rain’ from the real-life Jinsoul. Chungha will start working on learning every line and how to portray them right away with the help of Seungkwan and the other vocal coaches. A week later, on October 14th, she’ll also start learning the choreography for the song with the help of Boyeon and the other dance coaches. She’ll also receive the lyrics to a second song. The second song is called ‘Love Letter’ for Chungha’s debut single album as a duet with Sua.
While the member part of the first unit weren’t given stage names, the other units won’t have that rule to follow. Chungha may submit between today and October 28th a stage name idea. You may simply submit the name you’d like or add an explanation to it. These choices can be completely OOC, meaning your muse didn’t think of it but you thought it’d be cool for them to have it. These will be taken into account, but the final choice will be made by the mods.
Chungha will get to move into the official group dorm starting this month. She’ll have between October 10th and 11th to make her move and get settled. You can find more information on the dorm here. As more members are chosen, more rooms will be filled.
The trainees are separated into smaller groups to easier separate lines and evaluate them. The fifth song they are given is: ‘ZIMZALABIM’ by Red Velvet. The coaches separated the lines themselves based on what they’ve seen so far from the trainees, which can be found here.
As can be seen in the lyrics sheets, Chungha will also take part in the group performance at the end of the month, while Sua won’t anymore. This is to test the chemistry between possible members and keep an eye out for how a full group will end up looking like. On the other hand, this also means she won’t always be available for group practice while she works on her debut. So, it should be a challenge for everyone to come together and deliver a high-quality performance.
While they may choose their solo songs themselves, the coaches put down a few rules to follow: their performance must include both singing and dancing. *The already confirmed members are excluded from this requirement since they already have a solo song to work on.
DEBUT PREPARATION GIRLS: Yena will also be given access to a Vlive channel once she’s officially debuted that she may use, but apart from that, there won’t be promotions.
To proceed with Sua’s debut plans, and now that she should be familiarized with her debut song, it’s time to delve into deeper realms. She’ll release a single album titled after herself. It’ll feature two tracks: her title song, and ‘Twilight’.
She will go to the recording studio on October 10th to record both songs.
On October 11th, the following day, she will be taken to a hair salon to get to their styling for this release, or just to make sure her hair is in good condition. If not already, Sua’ll dye her hair blonde ( reference ).
Each HEARTZ girl will be assigned a color, and Sua’s will be red.
SPHERE will make sure to get everything in check before Sua takes a train on October 13th to Gimcheon. If any other girl would like to accompany her, they must let their manager know beforehand to assure them a ticket. On the same day, October 13th, she will be having her jacket photoshoot indoors, as can be seen on these images: 1, 2, 3, 4. She’ll start recording their debut music video for ‘Eclipse’ on the following day. She’ll return to Seoul on the morning of October 16th.
Any free time they have during her trips may be used to explore the city she’s in.
Sua will make her solo debut on November 28th.
