RESORT POOL PARTY 1 | Aaron x Jonah x Nadia x Tyler x Valerie

Jonah had been at the resort long before any of the others had arrived, both of the supernaturals and the mortals. He’d made sure to be the first one there so he could watch them as they filed in, getting first impressions of each of them. After everyone had arrived, he’d gone to a quieter room to go through each of them again when Aaron wandered in. After talking with him for a bit, the two of them left to go to the pool to meet up with some of Aaron’s friends.
When they neared the group, Jonah immediately recognized a familiar face, being pulled from his own thoughts when he heard his own name, quickly recovering with a smile and a nod to the group. “Hey there.”
After arriving at the resort, Nadia dropped her bags in her room before wandering out to get a feel for the place. She’d been in her fair share of resorts before but each one seemed to have it’s own little quirks and Nadia always liked to know of them before she got comfortable. She’d seen a few familiar faces as she wandered the halls, taking note of the rooms they went to before eventually the halls cleared drastically, and Nadia found herself at the pool, decided to rest there for a bit, slipping her shoes off and sitting on the edge of the pool, slipping her feet into the cool water, a sigh slipping out as she shut her eyes.
Eventually, Nadia heard voices from behind her, casting a glance behind her to see a small group of people that had collected behind her, spotting Jonah in the group almost immediately. Nadia hadn’t planned to socialize with anyone but this felt like a perfect opportunity, so instead of just sitting there and ignoring the conversations going on nearby, she pushed herself up and walked over to the group after collecting her shoes. “Hey there! I’m Nadia. I’m sure you don’t mind if I join your little party, do you?”
Tyler had no thoughts running through his mind besides figuring out ways to ensure that everyone had some fun during the week. Last year was a horrible nightmare that he hoped never happened again, but he hesitated to voice his concerns out loud. He didn’t want to jinx their year. During the past school year, Tyler did what he did best, for the most part. He only had a few hiccups here and there, but most of them were resolved. He wasn’t sure if he and Ashlee would ever be on speaking terms again, but he didn’t blame her for her reaction to the whole situation. He had made up with Aaron and Melanie and the whole situation with Brooke was long forgotten. He also didn’t know where he really stood with Emily, but he did know that their friendship was borderline flirtation.
Tyler was standing talking to Valerie when Aaron finally made an appearance. He nodded his head at the guy beside him and introduced himself. “What’s up, Jonah? I’m Tyler.” Turning his attention to Nadia, he smiled slightly. “Sure, the more the merrier.”
