I think I wrote this 2 years ago.. I don’t even remember it, but it was in my drafts for a long time on my main blog, so I just wanted to post it here.

Regina’s heart stopped in her chest. She was going to have an aneurysm, faint, die, or something.
There she was.
It’d been five years, but Regina would recognize that blonde head anywhere. Given, she had on more than one occasion mistaken other women for Emma, but those incidents were all in those first few, terrible months after Emma had disappeared and before Emma had been declared dead by the police reports.

Regina took a step forward.
Her throat was so tight, she didn’t think she could breathe let alone speak.
“Emma.”
It was barely a whisper.
“Emma.” She tried again.
All of a sudden, her heart was beating too too fast. Regina was afraid it was going to pop out of her chest. Emma turned around and for the first time in five years, Regina laid eyes on her girlfriend.
“I’m sorry, do I know you?”
