He is a fan of the Tumblr blanket
Where did you get this blanket? It's not the same one as in the shop. This one pictured is woven like a tapestry, and the one in the tumblr shop is a printed fleece-style.
My partner works for Tumblr and got it during Tumblrâs staff meetup. Unfortunately I think this woven tapestry one was special

One step closer to being a Disney princess with this fawn out my window.
Listen... Listen.. We're getting both a new Zelda AND Eurovision on the same weekend - that's a huge win for the gays. Two heroes in green!

serbia is for the gamers
I like it, Picasso. You do you with your funny lil owl.
Idk why Iâm seeing so much hate for the new tumblr live feature. For years Iâve been wanting to connect with other tumblr users on a personal level like you can on instagram. The tumblr community is so much more accepting, non-judgemental, and nicer than tik tok users. I feel so much more comfortable being live here than I would on tik tok.
The hate is giving â¨pick me⨠energy. Yes we know all social medias are morphing into the same thingâŚ.so adapt or deleteđ¤ˇđťââď¸đ
Iâve been on tumblr since itâs peak in 2011. If any social media community should have a live, itâs tumblr imo.

I love that Automattic didn't even do anything very noticeable for the first like... two years that they had the site (admittedly this was at least a little bit down to the pandemic), just seemingly held on to it and did 'nothing.' Except I'm confident a lot of that was cleaning up the back end with the many glitches and so on. The new editor isn't everyone's favorite, but it contains a lot of features that were previously only available on mobile, unless you managed to glitch into it through screen resolution shenanigans; it does have its own set of problems, but it also has an autosave feature and lets you edit tags without having to rewrite them, lets you put more images in, etc.
iirc, in-app/account blacklist was introduced after Automattic acquired the site. The app glitches less. The porn ban was loosened (as far as legally possible). We're given weekly emails on things that have been changed or fixed or adjusted.
I'm fully convinced that Automattic spent two years fixing up the hellsite to make it so that once they did start asking for money, it was for a product they were already proud of and had put a lot of work into making functional, rather than asking us to invest in a possible future.

I could watch this all day all week and still have it in my soul to annoy my family by playing it all Christmas. I wonât. But I could.
pearl chilling in the void what will she do :0
I begged my brain to not wake me up at 6am. The troll living in my skull woke me up at 4:30am.
I should have been more specific.
HELP: work in progress that is desperately seeking a name. Got an idea? Throw it at me, cause I donât know what to call this secret Santa gift Iâm workinâ on.
No idea either? Well, then hello and happy holidays anyways. Hope you have a great time either enjoying or ignoring your family. Iâm makinâ soup on Christmas Eve, thatâs my contribution to feeding family and enjoying time together. If anyone has a badass Wedding Soup recipe, I havenât settled on one to follow so Iâd take that as well as a demon name.
Prompts for 16 December 2022
Three characters:Â an elderly person carrying a heavy burden, a youngster carrying an armful of books, and a teenager with a bird on their shoulder
Three places:Â a shoe store, a pastry shop, and a souvenir shop
Three verbs: forbid, repeat, and signal
How do the people interact with each other? How do the verbs describe their actions, and in which setting?
Joan watched her two granddaughterâs flutter happily around the tourist hot spot that was the Shakespeare and Company bookshop in Paris, France. The youngest, Elle, carefully selecting which books would travel home with her, having saved all of her souvenir money for this shop. She said it was her goal and dream, to be one of the boarders who lived here across the Seine river from the Notre Dame, working in the book shop to earn her lodging, and write amongst likeminded creatives. The older granddaughter, Esther, was bored out of her mind in the old cramped bookstore. She had her shopping moment in Paris just before this, picking up new shoes and finding herself a beautiful shawl with an embroidered peacock that draped down her shoulder, the tail feathers sprawling down her back. She wore it out of the shop, not wanting to delay her joy with the new garment. Now she stood with her shoulders tall while browsing the shelves with little interest.
Elle must have had at least six books in her arms at this point, and Joan walked to her granddaughter.
âCan I hold some for you? So you can keep looking.â Joan asked the young girl.
âSure but help me remember the tally on these is at fourty-three euro.â Elle said handing her grandmother the stack of novels.
âYou got it. Is your mom still outside?â Joan asked, wondering if her daughter had made an appearance.
âShe is still outside having a smoke,â Esther grumbled disapprovingly. She had wanted to take photos inside the bookshop but got chided by an employee since that was forbidden. It had soured her mood, being unable to take selfies with her new fashion piece in the iconic location.
âLucky, I should have stayed behind with her. Now Iâm a pack mule!â Joan teased, smirking at Elle.
âYou asked! Now if I get this one, that would make my total⌠shit, did I say forty-seven or forty-two?â Elle asked her grandmother.
Joan looked slightly confused down at the pile of books in her arms.
âDoesnât matter, you realize you have to fly home with all these? We have a weight limit on the luggage remember.â Esther chided.
âAh yes, but I can take these in my carry-on.â Elle grinned proudly at her workaround.
âForty-five, thatâs what you said.â Joan finally said, offering the stack back to Elle. âWhere is your mother again?â Joan asked, repeating her earlier question.
âOutside having a smoke,â Esther repeated, trying not to show her frustration at her grandmotherâs failing memory.
âI think Iâll go join her if youâve got this,â Joan said as Elle took the books back. She was already headed forward the exit so Elle signaled with a head nod to her older sister to follow after their grandma.
âIâll go too, Iâm not getting anything.â Esther said loudly for Joan to hear, taking her grandmotherâs arm in her own and leading them out a side exit.
Elle happily trotted to checkout and upon hearing she had two extra euros to her 50 euro budget, tossed in two postcards she could use as bookmarks. She was eager for the day ahead, more shopping, and even more exciting, lunch up next at a pastry shop.

Musicâs a funny business in the world of family. If anyoneâs family is like mine when it comes to the topic, it can bring you together, or drive you apart. My Dadâs a pretty badass bagpiper, doinâ as he do with the pipeband. My brother was that dorky guy in the drumline obsessed with classic rock. Of course he now teaches music stuff, even does a class about the history of rockânâroll. I myself, have always just been a fangirl. All types of music are loved and appreciated in a house like mine, but for me as a kid, I was teased a lot for what I liked. Lots of âweird shitâ theyâd never heard of. My Nan loved Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson. I was never was much into country music, but I appreciate the classics because of her. Even saw Willie live once with my family when my Nan was alive, and it was a great night that made Nannyâs month. She talked about it all the time, one of those new memories that made an impact despite dementia chaos. Music is cool like that. Even in my caregiving days, I took care of a lovely woman who couldnât sleep much at night. But if I had an extra time out of my work to sit in her room and play some Elvis or Rod Stewart (her favorites) on my phone, she would tap her toes until she was snoozinâ. When my brother was wrapping up his masters, he had to put on a little concert. He chose to do a Johnny Cash tune for my Nanny, and I sure do love having this memory captured forever. Her smile and joy as she recognized one of her favorites will last my lifetime. Got shit from my mom for uploading it to youtube, but I didnât want to ever lose it. Thatâs the benefit of the internet, once itâs out there, it theoretically will be forever. Some memories are worth saying: âI want this one forever.âÂ
Sometimes you make really cool friends thanks to the internet. Back when I was 13 I met my best friend and her family at a concert for the band Keane. We knew each others usernames from the fan forum but hadnât planned on meeting. She ended up being right next to me during the show and we figured out we were both fangirls from the forum. We lived several hours away so being nerdy fangirls online together helped solidify the most iconic friendship. I did a sneaky and adopted her little sister as my own little sister and to this day, 18 years later, they are just as much family as my own blood, if not even more.
The night we met đ¤
Sometime later, Tomâs a good sport and also my friend is wearing the shirt I wore the night we first met.
This one would have been right before I moved across the country.
And some people donât think internet friendships last. đ
