TOTA INFO + Race sketches #2
woooo!! finally got around to posting this, here’s a better look into heaven in the Afterwild so that you’ll know what to expect when I start posting references / silly sketches, etc. this also opens up a lot more questions so ask away my friends….
Heaven in the Afterwild has four main races residing within it, as follows.
Seraphs -Â Seraphs are angels that never had a life on earth and were created in heaven. They are basically like regular angels except for the fact that they are immortal, they typically have multiple pairs of wings and are larger than regular angels.Â
Angels - angels are animals that have died and have been admitted into heaven. They look how they did in life except for the fact that they now have bird’s wings on their back that are white or gold and a halo above their head that is white or gold.
Light Demons - light demons are animals that have died and were admitted to hell, but have managed to redeem themselves and have been granted access into heaven. They are just like angels except they have white or gold bat/dragon wings instead of bird wings and have white or gold antlers instead of a halo.
Cherubs- angels that have chosen to be assistants instead of frolicking in Heaven. Cherubs are smaller than angels, have a yellow or white halo and small wings of any shape, they also have less patterns than regular angels.
Heaven in the Afterwild is not split up into different layers, but rather one big land filled with many kingdoms for each of the seven heavenly virtues.
Heaven isn’t cloudy like most depictions, but instead a an overgrown garden with tall white pillars and statues of angels scattered across it.
More information on the specific kingdoms is coming soon.
The six main ranks that I will be focusing on are as follows.
Seraphs - The higher ups to the Archangels, basically help rule over all of heaven and make sure everyone is obeying the laws no matter what rank they are.
Archangels - Seven angels that have been selected to be the leader and representative of one of the seven heavenly virtues, respectively.Â
The Gatekeeper - self explanatory, guards the gates of Heaven and lets new angels in.
Saints - Angels that have done great things in life which grants them higher status. Basically just high class/rich angels.
Angels - Regular animals that have died and have been admitted into heaven, basically the common folk.Â
Cherubs - cherubs are angels that have been selected to be assistants to the seraphs, archangels or the gatekeeper. They are just like regular angels but slightly smaller and have smaller wings.
