the    tilt    of    her    head    was    slow        &        deliberate,        a    sudden    flash    of    discontent    in    the    dark    of    her    eye.            in    that    moment    she    thought    she    could    see    lucifer    in    the    young    boy          ---------          the    calculation,        the    smile    that    tugged    at    his    lips.            she    took    a    moment    of    small    contemplation,        a    heavy    breath    was    drawn.            mind    her    not    to    underestimate    the    nephilim    again.            ava    stood    from    her    perch,        took    a    few    steps    forward          ...          that    she    could    take,        of    course.
