AA headcannon pt. 18: Klapollo 2/2
β’ They communicate surprisingly well now, neither can forget the awkward fumbling of feelings at the beginning of their relationship and now they just say whatever it is they need to say, even if it is ridiculous.
β’ Apollo is soft. Like, in every way you can think of soft. He treads lightly around serious subjects and handles them as quickly and smoothly as he can, always careful around old wounds and sore subjects. He's pretty good with comfort, too, if it's got to do with hurt feelings.
β’ Klavier isn't used to showing weakness. His brother drilled it into his head that his guard should never drop, not even when he's alone. It's hard for him to un-learn that, but the little praises and kind words when he is able to be honest definitely helps him not dread it when he's talking to Apollo.
β’ And Apollo is SO willing to help him if he needs to talk to someone else, too, he's as supportive as he can possibly be.
β’ Klavier tends to be a but smothering. Apollo won't allow PDA, they still banter like they used to (all in good fun, nothing malicious), but the second they're alone the prosecutor is holding his hand or leaning in to sing some cheesy love song under his breath or have an arm around him.
β’ Apollo might not be able to admit out loud without getting too flustered to speak, but he likes the attention a lot more than he let's on. It makes him feel loved and secure.
β’ Apollo gets a little scared when people flirt with Klavier, he gets self conscious and fears Klavier's going to leave like everyone else seems to do. The second Athena picks up on it, she tells Klavier and Apollo gets even more smothering than usual and a lot of reassurance that hes not going anywhere
β’ If they're having a real problem that the other can't properly help fix, it's over Kristoph. Every time. They both still care about and respect him, but he's also done a lot of damage to the both of them. They're stuck in the same spot, handling the subject of the older Gavin is like handling a venomous snake. You have no idea if it will bite you and no idea how much venom it's going to use when it does. It's something they both struggle to cope with.
β’ But they are coping together, so they've at least got that going for them. It doesn't feel like they're alone with someone who understands it all too well to talk to.
β’ Apollo absolutely cooks when he can. Dhurke was only good at a few different foods and Nahyuta never got the hang of it so he kind of picked it up to fill the gap as a kid. He's surprisingly good at it, too.
β’ Naturally, he packs Klavier lunches, and Klavier loves to help him out when he can. It feels very domestic.
β’ Klavier doesn't like Apollo's apartment. It's not in a great place, it's not very nice, its small, and Apollo is paying too much for it.
β’ The second he convinces Apollo to move in with him (it takes a while, but he's determined it, so hes not letting up) he has Apollo moved the next day.
β’ The smothering gets worse, but there is no complaints from either of them.
β’ They just love each other so much, and the time they spend together is the most wholesome part of their day.
