Alissa: looked out of the corner of her eye, attempting to subtly watch Anna as she scooted closer. The two of them munched on their cookies in comfortable silence. It was strange to Lissa just how fast the two of them had become friends, but she guessed that it was maybe just meant to be. Anna's soft voice pulled Alissa from her thoughts and she looked down at her with a smile. "Of course I'd help you...I mean, I'm not an expert. Obviously. But I would love to bake with you. I'm sure you're not a disaster." She reached for another cookie, cutting herself off before she said something embarrassing. She turned her body slightly so she could see Anna better as they relaxed against the back of the couch. "I could really come over and use your kitchen? And Finn wouldn't mind?" The idea was so appealing to her, she could hardly contain herself. "I don't want your kitchen to be sad."
Anna: wished everything was as easy and comfortable as it was with Alissa in that precise moment. There were cookies and both of them were quiet and rather awkward, yet it was comfortable. And natural; most of the times Anna interacted with people that didn't belong to her close circle of friends, it felt stiff and slow. Either she was humoring them or they were humoring her, it seemed. Anna shrugged shyly, "I mean... Maybe after spending...m-more time together you can decide that? If I-I'm a disaster or not. W-Which I am, but... Yeah." I mean, this was surely a good sign, right? Anna was a total moron on the messy couch with her wild lion hair, and still Alissa stuck around. A wide smile bloomed across the short blonde's face as she munched on a heavenly cookie. "Yes!", came her reply right away, so enthusiastic that she almost choked on a mouthful of cookie and her own tongue. "Neither of us can cook. But you do. And you wouldn't be our slave cook or anything because Abraham Lincoln and it's illegal now... If Finn has any objections, we can shut him off with one of these cookies! 'Cept I don't wanna share." Alissa would be coming here to cook. And she loved to cook. Which meant she would be at the apartment a lot. And Anna would get to see her a lot. And now Anna's hands were sweating a lot. "She won't be!", she fired in a barely coherent sentence. "She would like to have you here... A lot. B-Because she can smell the cookies, and they smell like the most awesome cookies so she trusts you already." Wow, that sounded a lot like a metaphor for how she felt towards the brunette. Maybe because it was.
