[this is an rp blog i am not demi lovato and do not own glee in anyway] Dani De Fazio, has always had the mentality of being the oldest. She was the girl who had all of the family looking up to her so tried hard to be perfect in everything she did. She took the brunt of her parents judgement and watchful eye, which was good because she was good at putting on a fantastic show face, even at a young age. She would bring home good grades, polite friends, and make her family proud when she would sing the choir every Sunday, though if you strip it all away you’ll Danielle Antonia De Fazio was living a bigger lie than anyone could ever imagine. Dani wasn’t a Christian, she wasn’t a really good girl, and past that she didn’t like the boys she was bringing home, at least not in the ways her parents wanted. The De Fazios had a plan for their eldest, she was to become successful, marry a nice Catholic man, and have a wonderful little family. Dani never had the heart t tell them their dreams would never be reality, so she kept her mouth shut, doing her best to keep her sexuality hidden so her parents could live in their simple little bubble. Though of course like ever secret it wasn’t going to be a secret forever, and the bubble burst in the worst way possible. She was seventeen, so close to eighteen she could almost taste it, she was with her girlfriend and her parents were supposed to be home for at least another two hours, but of course they decided to come back earlier than planned and they caught her. While hell broke loose, Dani’s life became a bit of an out of body until she graduated and headed to Thespis. Spending as little time home as she could, avoiding her parents like the plague. While doing this Dani sort of went a bit crazy with the partying. Trying to find a new place to go crazy at night, then wake up in someone else’s bed in the morning. She still went to school everyday, mass every Sunday, and while she hated them now more than anything Sunday night dinner. She tried to keep living life how she was supposed to, just never going home to see the looks on her parents faces of disgust and disappointment. When Dani went to get tested, as she always did once a month, she figured everything would be fine. While she didn’t remember each time she had sex, she was certin they always used protection. She would never risk doing it without making sure she would stay clean.. At least that’s what she thought. When her results came back, they told she was HIV positive and threw her for a total curve ball. She knew it wasn’t a death sentence, with the right medications she could live a long and happy life as long as she monitored it, but she still couldn’t shake the horrific thought that one day her body and her mind would fall apart on her and she could do nothing to stop it. It’s been a few years since she found out and she’s rigorous about taking her meds, and trying to live a semi-normal life, but some days are definitely harder than others. For the past few years she’s been trying to find a way to tell her sister, as she’s the only true family she has left but she still hasn’t been able too. She’s tried to have a few relationships in the past, but they always end when she let’s them know she has HIV. So instead she sticks to one night stands, with protection of course, as she refuses to be the cause of someone else getting the disease, and believes that love won’t come for her, not anymore. Dani, now out from under the thumb of her parents, and because of her diagnosis, lives every day like it could be her last. She likes going on trips, and trying accomplish as much as she can because who won’t like having stories to tell. She plans crossing everything off her bucket list before she’s forty, but not before she’s the star she know’s she’s meant to be.
