Just pointing out that in this scene in The Avengers, Natasha was about to be tortured. The guy who was interrogating her had a row of torture devices, and he grabbed one right before Coulson called.

Natasha was nowhere near done, meaning she was fully prepared to let him torture her to extract information. This is probably something she does on the regular

Of course they don’t like Milly Alcock’s Supergirl. She’s a grown ass woman with zero love interests who spends the movie saving her dog, casually dismantling a sex trafficking ring while she’s at it, and preaching the importance of being good, not nice or smiley or cheerful but good. I for one adored the movie and I really hope I’ll get to see more of Alcock’s Supergirl she’s now my favorite iteration of her and I love her so dearly.

ooooh yayyy yess i love her sm!! i don’t really think i have any headcanons that are unique than the rest of early shield nat stuff and u pretty much hit them all on ur post bahaha but i love stuff like her learning how to be an actual person for the first time since ohio, except it isn’t a mission this time.

i think she probably had a hard time figuring out who to be since she was always a shell of a girl or acting under a cover, so she switches around a lot and is very skittish. ooh also i love her and clint, he gets to show her all these things but she isn’t used to having nice things and lashes out often but he always comes back and is very gentle and kind which she’s never seen from a man before. Maria makes her more comfortable at shield when she sees that a figure of authority here isn’t going to hurt her if she does something wrong, and she can test the boundaries and tease Maria and actually get close to her and feel safe. oughh i love nat.
