"I'm so embarrassed. I wish everybody else was dead!" He snapped. "Damn you, cruel world! You'll rue the day thinking you could make Bender Bending Rodriguez lose at a donkey kicking rodeo!"

Apparently Bender was upset because he lost at a donkey rodeo. Now, Daisy knew this was typical Bender behaviour whenever things didn't go his way. He'd whine and kick and pout. However, Daisy could sense that there was another layer underneath it all. She could tell that losing this donkey rodeo was personal to him. Usually things like that wouldn't be personal, he'd just find an excuse to bitch and moan about something.

But not this time.

"Bender, would you like to sit down and talk about it?" The Australian girl asked calmly, bracing herself for a loud outburst from Bender.

However, he paused, looked down at her, said nothing and sat down next to her.

"Are you ready to talk about it?"

"Don't rush me, Daisy!" Bender said loudly.

Silence.

"Okay I'm ready."

And so he began to spin his little tale of woe. Well, it was really just a rant.

"So Fry, Leela and I were going to that donkey rodeo I was telling you about, I was competing in it, and my donkey wasn't feeling so good but we needed him to go on so we could win. And next thing you know, the opponent's donkey started a big fight with my donkey and then my donkey felt really down on his luck when we were doing our little routine, and we lost!"

Bender's rant quickly escalated to a big sob fest, because he was stumbling over his words and he was crying non-existing tears.

"Oh Bender... I'm sure it'll be okay." Daisy said, giving him a gentle and warm look of concern.

"No, you don't get it, doll face. There was a really sweet price for the winner."

"Was it beer?" Daisy asked with a hint of playful teasing in her voice.

"I wish. That would've been a wonderful prize for the loser. The winning prize was 30,000 dollars. If I won it, which I should've, I was going to use that money to do something good!"

It wasn't until Bender started sobbing. Non-existing tears came out from his golden yellow orbs, hands over his face. Daisy immediately wrapped her arms around him.

"Oh you poor thing... I really like how you were going to do something good with it, if you won." She could see why this was affecting him so much.

She knew well that if he won, Bender would've used that money for his own selfish deeds, because he's Bender. But from what she could sense, he really meant that he was going to do some good with it.

Bender sniffled and looked at the Australian girl. "I was going to use it to get you an emotional support animal."

Daisy froze, blush slowly spread over her tan freckled cheeks. She was lost for words. "E-emotional support animal..? For- for me?!"

"I thought losing that rodeo would be painful, but seeing you unhappy hurts even more. I don't know why it does. It shouldn't!" He said with frustration in his voice. "But it does!"

He wasn't willing to admit exactly why he wanted to get an emotional support animal for Daisy. Well, the first reason was because he was always worried if something were to trigger bad memories for Daisy, or if she had really bad days that not even he could cure. But if you were to ask Bender the deeper reason, he really cares about Daisy, always has since the moment they met.

"Bender... That's the sweetest thing... Hey, there's no deadline to get me an emotional support animal. It's not like I desperately need one at this moment in time." Daisy held his cold metal hands.

"I'll be fine. Really."

Daisy didn't seem too fussed about getting an emotional support animal so soon, as much as she would really love one. Bender didn't care, he was going to get Daisy an emotional support animal one way or another. Maybe he was the one who needed that emotional support animal right about now because he was still crying in frustration.
