Officially Dead, read pinned post

Devsisters decided to go forward with NFTs, despite the backlash is really the scummiest thing I can think of right now. In all honesty, I shouldn't be shocked, b/c Devsis really is a corporation first in these kind of matters. Shiny little monies matter more to them than their fans. Since this has become clear, just know that this blog is not going to be revived and is officially dead. If you are following this blog or have just followed this blog, I would highly recommend you unfollow now, as I am finally done with Cookie Run as a whole and will probably be shifting my focus to other things as a result.

I am currently more active on my actual tumblr blog @katiekatstudios and if you want something more original, I'm still updating @rubberhoserhapsody not fairly regularly, but hopefully enough to garner an audience of sorts.

As for everything else... I just want to thank everyone for loving my interpretation of Sparkling, I wanna thank @tallyverse for letting me borrow their Rainbros (I'm sorry that it ended up like this, just as Noire and Mary finally got together ;-;) and I wanna thank everyone for following this silly blog. Even though I feel like it really took a bit of a different direction from what I previously had it (from an interpretation of what it would be like if Sparkling ran a blog to an epic adventure quest thing or w/e).

THIS BLOG IS ON HIATUS EFFECTIVE 11/10/2021!

For those of you who aren't in the know on the recent news, devshits have decided to become NFTurds and start selling NTFs. With that in mind and despite Sparkling being an absolute angel that I love lots and lots, I cannot, within good conscience, keep supporting and making content for a franchise that has decided to effectively give mother earth the middle finger (and considering how many times Herb has made an appearance on this blog, it's not shocking that I feel this way.)

So for that reason, this blog is going to be going on a... well I don't wanna say hiatus, because it kinda was on hiatus already, but let's just say this hiatus is more official and more lengthy than usual. At least either until Devshits change their mind or until Cookie Run fades into obscurity. Now where you can find me with that in mind.

Well, as I said, even if it hasn't updated in FOREVER, I'm still doing my original comic donut steal here if you're more interested in my original stuff, but if you're more interested in me, the mun as a person, my personal blog is here. You can follow it if you want, but keep in mind I reblog pretty much whatever interests me and whatever irks me so... you've been warned XD

And for those of you who aren't in the know and don't understand WHY devshits decision to make NFTs is such a horrible one, let me enlighten. Imagine if you paid 500 dollars just so you can own just a link to an image that anyone can just right click and save anyway. And imagine that every time you did spend 500 dollars on it, a tree gets set on fire. This is just the general gist, but if you want more info on why NFTs are bad and why you shouldn't fall victim to the NTFturds and this stupid fad, you can read this tweet here.

For those of you who do have faith in devshits though, get loud. Uninstall the games. Yell about it on twitter. Go into their feedback and say something. Refuse to buy their packages if you haven't already. Don't create fan art or content for the game. Whatever you think will work.

🍅As you know, the day we arrived at the station back from Velvet City, Almond had been kidnapped.

🥂It's strange... because we were talking to him on the phone like... about a day ago, I think. Geez, it's been a while since I've slept...

🍅Anyway, he left the station at 10 PM, which was unusually early for him and... he never came into work the next day. We traced all the possible routes he could have taken to get to his home and every search has gone dry. Not a single trace of him remains. It's almost as if he was just swallowed up by the earth or something.

🍫Have you checked for any traces of dark magic?

🍅Plenty of times. We must have collaborated with every wizard here in Parfaedia about it, trying to find whatever magic traces we could. At this point, we may just have to do a whole search of the city.

🍅And considering the fact that Blood Pudding has awakened and of course vampires getting more excited with each day Black Diamond Apple is closer to freedom... I have some... suspicions about what may have happened to him.
