SparkleHunters Origins
It’s kind of long
To the normal mortal eye, life seems safe and quiet… And a bit boring. Everything abides by the laws of realism, nothing could ever be powerful enough to threaten the world we live in now. Nothing supernatural could ever threaten your way of life.
Well, if you think that, you’ve already fallen into the trap. Guiding you into a false sense of security. When you’re feeling at your safest, “they” strike. And the worst part? It’s only getting worse.
Until one day, a scout is sent out to find only the bravest, kindest, and purest of heart to defend the great country of England. He is given one year for searching the entire country for the best defender. But that’s quite a difficult task! 361 days pass, and the poor scout has found no one… He needs to settle down fast! Otherwise the evil will only spread and grow!
One day, as he's sneaking around, he comes across our favorite bunch of fellow neighbors! Ell, Tam, Matilda, Ellana, Maurnie, and of course Joan.
The last girl catches the scout’s eye. A notably kind being with soft dot eyes. She seems like the best fit for a whole day of searching.
The scout shifts from his regular form to the anatomy of a small rabbit. And crosses the street, just in range for Joan to notice. She of course chases after him, very interested and not paying attention to the two arguing groups in front of her. Matilda catches wind of this and decides to chase after Joan, seeing the argument as pointless.
When Joan and the creature are seemingly alone, he shows her his true form!
Which is… Still a rabbit creature, but more cartoony. He is able to stand on his hind legs, and can talk! Putting his capabilities to use, he explains what’s going on in the world, and that Joan is the best shot he’s got at saving it.
Matilda hears all of this whilst hiding behind a corner, and decides she could be perfect for this job! She jumps from behind the corner, intruding into the conversation.
Practically begging to be the star of this quest. The bunny creature is frankly shocked! This is a dangerous job, and anyone could get hurt whilst doing it! So to come forward and offer yourself without being spoken to first? Absurd!
He reminds Matilda of all of this, but the redhead insists she wants to do it!...Well at least he got a brave heroine. Maybe one of each will be good enough? But after a bit of conversing with the two, it’s clear they aren’t the absolute purest of heart. Being flawed is the common absolute for all human beings. Oh well, these two are the best he’s got. Off to training and world saving they go!
Will these two be able to stop the terror and dastardly enemies before it’s too late? Are brave and kind hearts powerful enough to stand up to this evil? Or will our heroines fail miserably and have the darkness take over all of England, and possibly the world? Stay tuned to find out!
