Brianne deserves all the applause. She gives everything to this scene and you can see Georgia reliving all the trauma in her eyes. Georgia is paralyzed by Paulās violence. Itās very raw. Great acting. Georgia has really gone through it. I want her to be safe and happy and free
This isn't how you treat family. Paul asserts control through violence.. She doesn't talk after this. She just focuses on breathing. You can see everything she's reliving in her eyes.
He is blushing your honor

They NEEDED this parallel so bad
They had Brianne squeeze out a WHOLE bottle of mustard. Its the only thing I can see in this scene.

I'm just gonna make GIFS of Joes facial expressions when I'm bored.
Does Georgia know who Joe is before she goes to the cafe? She doesn't even look up when saying his name.
We don't get to see Joe's reaction to learning her name. Paul interrupts them before she can tell Joe.
I know its kind of a stretch, but she she was wearing the sunglasses as they drove to Wellsbury. He had to be on her mind a little bit. Did the writers know what they were doing from the pilot?
georgiaās faces were priceless here.
Paul is irredeemable.
He left her. Then left her defenseless. He blocked her from her lawyer.
He decided he was done with her. Then took active steps to make sure she went to prison because he's vindictive and it helps his career. He didn't care about her or Ginny or Austin at all. He proposed in like 3 months? He was using her just as much as she used him.

"Is that why you're so strong?"
"Because of the abuse? No. I would have been way stronger if I didn't have to use so much energy dealing with that shit."
Shoutout to Ginny and Georgia for not glorifying abuse or abusers
Stop Defending Paul Randolph
(š„SPOILER FOR SEASON 3š„)
Because abandoning someone at their lowest isnāt āreasonable.ā Itās cowardice.
Paul didnāt make good choices.
He had good choices.
Options. Privilege. Reputation.
He walked into Georgiaās world with all the advantages and ran the second it stopped serving him.
Georgia was losing everything.
Her kids were taken by CPS.
She was being framed in the court of public opinion.
She was staring life in prison in the face.
She needed Paul.
Not as a savior but as a shield.
And he left.
Letās be clear:
Paul didnāt just walk away emotionally.
He walked out physically and publicly.
In front of the town. In front of the cameras.
In front of Georgiaās children.
He humiliated her when she had nothing left.
Yes, Georgia lied about being pregnant.
But it wasnāt to be malicious or cunning.
It was a survival tactic.
She was desperate. She was cornered.
She was trying to protect what little she had left.
Paulās response?
He nearly hit her.
He called her āthe most selfish person heās ever met.ā
He told her sheād go to prison.
He said her kids would be better off without her.
Let that sink in.
Paul isn't evil.
But he is a coward.
He doesnāt know how to love what he canāt control.
He doesnāt know how to show up when things get real.
He wanted Georgia to be pretty, polished, and manageable.
Not human.
And hereās what really infuriates me:
The world still sees him as the victim.
People excuse Paul because he looks respectable.
They condemn Georgia because sheās chaotic.
But hereās the truth:
Paul never loved Georgia.
He loved the idea of her.
Georgia was never perfect.
But sheās a mother who fought like hell.
Paul didnāt want to get dirty.
So he threw her away.
Donāt call that mature.
Donāt call that noble.
Call it what it is: a betrayal.
A lot of people say the writers āruinedā Paul. I disagree. They made one of the best choices of the season.
They didnāt ruin him they revealed him.
Paul was never a hero. He was just a man who looked like one until the mask fell off.
Whether it was intentional from the start or something that evolved, it worked. It gave the story teeth. It showed us what happens when women like Georgia put their trust in image over substance and it hurt, because it was real.
I'm glad they didnāt protect Paul.
Because men like him get protected enough in real life.
Stop defending Paul.
Heās not a good man.
Heās just a man who had the option to leave and took it.
