And this only affects Tim, no one else notices

And so he’s very annoyed but intrigued when this random guy he bumped into is being bathed in angelic lighting with some string music playing in the background and now suddenly there’s like roses floating around him?

So firstly, his backstory: He was an arena fighter, who was likely very good at it, and was very popular. He 'reached the top' and then felt isolation and boredom (the fights became too easy for him???). His death was from being stabbed in the back - likely by someone he trusted (which may be why he's being so cagey and not telling people much about himself)

Then we get to actual gameplay stuff. Firstly, the nether like cave reminding him of home, then he steps on a magma block and is resistant to the damage, so he likely has some form of passive fire/burn resistance.

And then we get to his powers which he didn't demonstrate at any point

The sword feels like either he gains a special sword or has some form of strength, the anvil gives mace vibes for some reason (partly due to him hinting that he has many weapons, not only a sword, and because of his want for wind charges from Scott). But then there's the other one. It looks like some form of creature (it almost looks like a cross between a wolf and a boar), and I initially thought that it could be that he summons something like Martyn does, but idk how much sense that makes for Hephaestus . Plus Abolish's insistence that this guy is fully human makes me believe that it's not a shapeshifting thing, and therefore I am lost.

But yeah this is the good ending where they found the cure to save nom from the creaking despite some residue left like the early gray hair but no biggie.

He's the champion of Hephaestus, the god of forging and fire and stuff.

So, Abolish should invent himself his own original weapon, to show his skill and devotion.

The weapon should also utilize fire, since Hephaestus is the god of fire.

Hephaestus is also famously disabled due to Zeus so-long-gay-bowser-ing him off a cliff.

So the weapon should be accessible and easy to use for those who may have physical limitations of any kind.

Swords, axes, ect. Are mele weapons and require strength and speed to use. Not ideal.

Bows and Crossbows are much better, but pulling the string back can take much physical strength, and larger bows and crossbows can be very heavy.

Stationary weapons like catapults or cannons are imobile and not easily transportable. It would be very difficult and potentially impossible to bring it to a fight, and retreating would require abandoning it. You're also screwed if you get ambushed.

Bombs are pretty good. Plus they bring fire. But are very likely to cause unwanted casualties to allies. Plus, if your indoors, your screwed.

What if Abolish utilized the range and mobility of the crossbows, and easiness of the bomb? instead of using a string, the user would press a small lever to launch a pin to hit a small explosive that would launch the projectile at record speed? The explosive would be attached to the projectile, and destroyed when shot. A bonus, since fire is Hephaestus's thing. It would be light to carry, and quick and easy to use. Ideal at long range, but short range can work aswell. He could also add something to help with eyesight and aim, and it could be rested on something to help with shaking. People could use it sitting, laying, or standing.
