Noticing a movement and then familiar signal on her radars, Airheart transformed mid air and waved back, before she proceeded to land closely to the other Autobot. “Handywheel!” Her optics brightened with a cheerful flicker. “Long time no see, how have you been?”

There was a short pause before Airheart spoke, as she was trying to decide what exactly she should say. For past few months the femme has been travelling from one place to another, rarely coming back to her shuttle. She wasn’t in the best mood for contacting anyone, and so she decided to disappear for some time. But to be perfectly honest, she wasn’t sure if she wanted to admit this in front of anyone.

“Well…I’ve been travelling a little bit, I guess,” Airheart finally replied with a slightly hesitant flick of the wings.

Sharp, croaking sound broke the silence, making Airheart almost jump in surprise. Opening her optics, she quickly looked around, trying to locate the source of the noise. Nothing. And yet, the sound not only didn't stop - it got even closer. It sounded somehow familiar, even though the femme couldn't quite recall where or when she's heard it before... Little green creature stood still, staring at her intensively with his funny bulging eyes - or at least that what she felt it was doing - and kept making those strange croaking noises that goblins usually make. "Oh....Oh. Hello, tiny goblin. What are you doing here...?" She asked quietly, careful not to scare it away. "You shouldn't be here, you know? It could be dangerous for you." More croaking sounds and then, the goblin leapt fom the edge of a table, towards the ground. Airheart gasped and quickly moved forward, reaching her servos to catch the creature before it'll fall down and hurt itself. How did it even get into her shuttle? It was a miracle that it got so far safely! Holding the goblin carefully and making sure she's not accidentally squishing him, she walked outside her shuttle and closer to a nearby stream where she finally decided to set the creature free. There she sat on the ground, quietly observing while the tiny green one jumped towards the water and listening to it's croaking sounds - and some other ones that seemed to answer from somewhere not too far away. "So there's more of you here, huh?" Femme quietly said, her wings twitching slightly. Although she'd never admit it, Airheart felt a strange pang of jealousy deep in her spark - a feeling that surprised her. Last few months of her life on Earth were quite devoid of contacts with any other Cybertronians. It wasn't the fault of her friends though. There weren't many of them, but she believed they'd be there for her if she needed them. The truth was...Airheart didn't want it. One day, after another failed attempt to contact her former spaceship and getting even more convinced that in the end her shuttle's communication systems must be somewhat broken, she simply left. For months she kept travelling. Flying above the human cities with all of their beautiful shimmering lights and observing them from a safe distance, then sending out her holoform to explore them only to retreat to more uninhabited areas soon after that. She blocked her comm link and returned to her shuttle only when she truly had to. It was strange and lonely way of living, but at that time, driven by all the emotions that boiled in her spark, all that Airheart wanted was to disappear. To forget and be forgotten. And suddenly here she was - sitting in front of her shuttle, looking at tiny, croaking creatures and thinking that maybe...Maybe it was the time to stop running away. Time to come back.

Airheart didn’t like flying.

Or rather - that’s what she told herself and what she wanted to believe for such a long time, in a desperate attempt to fit in among other mechs and femmes in her squad. After all, most Autobots didn’t fly. It was something that Seekers did though - and being accused of being one could get you in some serious trouble. She knew that too well.

However, deep in her spark still lingered the hunger for the sky and for this absolute freedom of flight. And sometimes, once in a while, a familiar vision flashed through her processor - a vision of a city with it’s lights shimmering softly as she flew above them. A city she used to call her home.

When the vision returned, during nights such as this, the yearning for the sky and it's wonders was too strong to ignore, too sacred to be covered with simple lies.

And then, there was the wonderful cold night air that caressed the surface of her wings as she cut through it at full speed. There were stars high above her, stars which reminded her of home and Earth's only moon in all it's mysterious glory.

There was freedom.

Happiness.

This world had many cities as well and all of them had shimmering lights that evoke familiar feelings and memories. But none of them felt like home.

Strangely, it was the remote places, far away from humans and their dazzling cities that made her feel the most at peace here on Earth.

Transforming mid-air into her robot mode, Airheart landed on the ground as gently and quietly as she could. Around her, those tiny white things called snowflakes swirled in the cold night air. Soon, one by one, they ended their dance by falling softly on the ground where they joined already thick layer of white – a layer that shimmered so mysteriously in the pale moonlight.

It all felt almost unreal, like a fragile, fleeting dream - or maybe even a fairy tale.

Enchanting.

And for a long moment, Airheart simply stood there, marveling at the beauty of this scene, too afraid that even the tiniest movement or sound could break the silence that surrounded the place and make it all disappear.

::You’ve been…worrying about me?:: There was a longer moment of silence on her side. Somehow those words sounded like something coming from a totally different and long forgotten world. It wasn’t something Airheart heard often, especially in the times of war. In fact, she couldn't recall anyone saying anything like this even when she was still with her squad...

So when she spoke again, there was still some surprise present in her voice – but there was also curiosity. ::Why? Why would you worry about me? Why would you worry about an Autobot?::

Considering the amount of Decepticons and ex-Decepticons she’s already accidentally run into, Airheart was slowly starting to suspect that Primus was probably having really good fun playing tricks on her.

Or maybe that’s just called bad luck?

“Designation’s Airheart and I’m an Autobot.” Tilting the helm slightly, femme crossed her arms over her cockpit - and hoped that this Decepticon won't shoot at her. Or at least not straight away. His name didn't really give her any clues, although she had a strange feeling that she might have seen it once or twice in some reports long time ago...or maybe it was just some similar sounding name? She honestly didn't remember. “What are you doing here?”

drowned out those of importance for a moment in which eyes of toxic green gave vision for a confused mind that tried to comprehend many things at once. a small mistake. listen, listen, listen. a priority. to listen, but also watch. watch the movements of a stranger that had just been met, but responded to the confused being’s gestures or reflexes in their own manner. relevant to remember, perhaps for later. and that was exactly what the femme’s focus was on, gaze becoming almost too distant. despite such, spoken words were still heard, even if perhaps an unnecessary pause was given in response; one to not only wake up slumbering pieces of attention, but also try to explain to herself what the other had said. but with these answers given, more questions began to rise. it was difficult to ever be satisfied. ❛wнy αɴd нow woυld ѕoмeoɴe wιpe oυт мy eɴтιre мeмorιeѕ?❜ caught up in her own mind, pleasantries were forgotten barely a second after they had been expressed. she was too di̕s̡tre̷s̢s̸e͜d to notice, only an expression of justified worry shown. ❛нαve ι doɴe ѕoмeтнιɴɢ ẁr̴o̷ɴ͝ɢ̧?❜ as though a stranger could know.

Airheart remained silent for a longer moment. Returning her wings to more neutral position and stepping a bit closer, she looked at the other femme, tilting her helm slowly. While her first and natural response was deep concern about the newly met Cybertronian, now some darker thoughts crossed her processor. Concern and willingness to help were still there, of course. But as it now occured to her once more , it could all be a trap - a perfectly orchestrated one. It could, yes. After all, meeting a complete stranger who claimed to have completely wiped out memories and who looked so…differently - because Airheart had to admit that the other one’s frame didn’t look like anything or anyone she remembered from Cybertron - was something that certainly raised some suspicion at the times of war. What spoke against the whole „trap” scenario though, was the fact that the other femme would have to be a brilliant actress. Airheart caught a glimpse of that a bit distant gaze, as well as signs of true worry and confusion in the other’s behaviour. It wouldn’t be so easy to play such role in such realistic way… The strange Cybertronian intrigued her, probably more than she would admit, which led to another thought - no matter how dangerous it could be, she wanted to find out the truth behind all this. Emerging from her thoughts and looking straight into the other femme’s optics, she finally addressed her questions. ”Well...I have no idea who could even think about doing such a horrible thing as erasing your memory. I…I think even Decepticons wouldn’t go as far as doing something like that.” Or at least she truly hoped so, although considering all the things ’Cons did during this war, it was quite…questionable. ”But I doubt you’ve done anything wrong.” She added with a delicate, warm smile.
