Holy wow I need to debrief after Volume 1... No spoilers here, but wow am I pleased so far 😭🙏

Something that I've learned recently is how truly homophobic people are. The smallest hint of queerness in media is immediately shutdown by angry parents, severe christians, or just regular everyday homophobic people. The amount of straight representation compared to queer representation is insane. 1 queer individual could be indroduced into a show, and now people throw a fit and claim "The gays are taking over and shoving their agenda down our throats" when for the past hundreds of years, the media has been predominantly filled with hetero relationships, and it still is. If you choose to click on a random show on netflix and watch it, there will most likely be only hetero characters. There's a chance you might get a queer character or two, but that is very slim unless the show has been labeled as a queer show. I've just found it interesting at how people react to things like this, and then claim that they are the ones being put down for existing/talking about their beliefs.

Haven't posted in a while, and have found some new interests. That being The Legend of Zelda. Which, by the way, is an amazing game series that everyone who reads this should go check out

One thing I love about byler that whether it will become canon or not, it's semi-canon. Meaning every look, every tone shift, literally anything Will did towards Mike that seemed even somewhat like he could like him, is real. He is in love with Mike, he's gay, and he's pushing the love of his life away for the sake of his sister. Will is THE best character, not only written, but also personality wise. His character has no much trauma, development, love, hatred, everything and it's amazing. Byler, has all of that, and more. Hence why Byler is my favorite ship. Again, even if it doesn't become fully canon, we still have so much that's there, that we will always have. Mike always needing to make sure Will is ok in seasons 1&2, Mike apologizing after their fights, admitting HE was wrong and not blaming it on anyone else, and even just the tiny moments, like glances, physical contact, and other stuff like that. At this point, it would be stupid for the Duffers to not make it at least somewhat canon (more than just Will's crush on mike).

One of the best moments to see that Mike truly isn't as straight as Milevens say, is when him and Will are burying the agent's body. We all know that Will was looking at Mike, basically heart eyeing him with a yearning look. But when Mike looks at Will, he not only looks at him twice, but three times. He also looked like he was caught doing something he shouldn't have. That scene is just so great.
