Day 19 – Wheel and Range. Today we're in for a real race! Each participant will have their own themed car!"
Pawnsy drives a retro racing car from the 1930s, styled to resemble a chess set. Racing cars of that era, while stylish, were extremely unsafe, so Pawnsy prefers not to drive them too recklessly and tries to be careful behind the wheel, which is why they lag far behind.
Xaler's car is styled in the Frutiger Aero aesthetic. The gears and water are visible through the transparent body. Her car, while not as fast, is quite eco-friendly and safe.
Rozzetta's car is a true example of retro-futuristic aesthetics! Sharp corners, rocket-shaped exhaust pipes, and a touch of menace in the form of saws and sickles (inspired by the "Robots" animated movie, which features a retro-futuristic 50s aesthetic, reminiscent of Rosette's appearance) - all this is intended to intimidate her opponents!
And the undisputed leader is Clown! As a racing enthusiast, he knows a lot about racing and cars, so he was able to easily outrun his rivals! His car is a monster truck stylized as an 80s arcade machine and clown-inspired!
And yes, now I can finally show off his palette in all its glory!
By the way, the track was chosen for a reason - it is stylized after the Hot Wheels Happy Meal!
Next Day 20. Sketch idea - @house-in-country!)
Since Pawnsy was a programmer in the real world, they are pretty knowledgeable about the circus's workings and bugs, but not to the same level as Kinger. So, from time to time, their friends reach out to them, and they try to help them as best they can.
I decided to skip other days, because the topics were either repetitive, or I had no ideas, or my ideas were too big. This year I will most likely participate selectively, so as not to get stuck on certain topics for too long again.
