𝙰𝚞𝚐𝚞𝚜𝚝 𝟸𝟽, 𝟷𝟿𝟷𝟼 𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝙳𝚒𝚊𝚛𝚒𝚎𝚜 𝙾𝚏 𝙵𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚣 𝙺𝚊𝚏𝚔𝚊, 𝟷𝟿𝟷𝟺-𝟷𝟿𝟸𝟹

Every day I come across videos and comments laughing at women for being independent and not wanting a man's help, even when the women in question don't struggle very much in what they're doing and actually accomplish their tasks.

"Mary Sue" is a term used for female characters who are too competent; it's those who come too close to exhibiting the skill level of any "badass" male character. "Marty Sue" is supposedly the male equivalent, but I've never heard it used. I HAVE heard "Mary Sue" about a million times though.

Half the population benefits from women being uneducated, ignorant, unskilled, and physically weak, and the women who serve that population gleefully help to get the rest of us "back in line" with this image of womanhood.

Fear is a cancer, and we can't entertain it for a second. We need to root it out immediately and fill ourselves with the knowledge that we can and will be able to handle anything that occurs with God's help. We're never on our own.

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

People like that tend to think they're special for their unrestrained cruelty, but actually the exact opposite is true: they're the most garden-variety type of person imaginable. Just look around at how awful human society is and how many people have this exact character if you want to know how painfully common and banal it is.

What is actually rare is people who express themselves with grace and maturity, remaining dignified, righteous, and pure of heart in the coarse presence of the spiritually and morally impoverished masses. These people are unforgettable for all the right reasons, and being in their presence for a while is transformative. It makes you want to be a better person yourself because of the beauty of their example.

Nothing less than this sort of exemplary character intrigues me anymore.
