True Intelligence is prehensive. It perceives truths unavailable to the senses. It is through the Intelligence, for example. that we 'see' the Archetypes. Intelligence, indeed, is our highest perceptive faculty and is that part of us which is continuous with the Divine. It is the Solar faculty, which is why Intellect is associated traditionally with the heart. Reason (lunar) is situated in the head. Pure Truth is innate in us, which is why Plato, in common with all tradition, teaches that "all learning is remembering". The Greek for Truth is alethea: unforgetting, lethe being forgetfulness. The Tibetan lama, teaching a truth, makes the sign of the thunderbolt destroying ignorance, for the Truth is already in us: only the veil of ignorance keeps us from it. "I am sure people have heard these things just as I have and I’ve also seen these in scientific literature as well : "The purpose of our species is sex" and that "everything is based on sex", "Everything connects to sex". It is genuinely grating that so many people believe that orgasms are the best sensations your body can produce and it feels better than almost everything (people have told me that word by word, and it really shows in broader society.) It is a cop-out as old as time. Declare to people that being vile is okay, and that'll do it. You'll be like a hero, and anyone who opposes you is dead.
