I want love to be simple. I want to trust without thinking. I want to be generous with my affection and patience and love unconditionally. It is easier to love a person with their flaws than to weed through them. I want to love the whole person, not parts; and this is how I want to be loved.

At this point, I’m pretty sure that my life will forever contain this continuous struggle between ‘I don’t need anybody; I can take care of myself’ and ‘somebody, please hold me and understand me without me having to tell you what’s wrong’.

I want someone to know me. I want someone that will notice every little detail about me. Someone who knows my favorite movie, the name of my first pet, everything I like and dislike, someone who knows my favorite quote and has read my favorite book. Someone that is willing to get to know me.

I never hated you for leaving , I was just envious that you could . Because I desperately wanted to be one of those people who could pack up and leave, forget everything and create a new identity for myself, to have a chance to re-do all of my mistakes. But I never could, I’ve always cared to much, Unable to just let it all go and move on.

You can’t hurt me, I’ve felt this pain a million times before…

There is nothing stronger in the world than gentleness.
