people (myself included) may think that ran is the clingy one, never leaving his cute little brother alone and following him around like a moth to a light; much to rindou's utmost chagrin. he would then shove his doting older brother a good ten feet (or more, if he could) away from him, claiming that he's old enough to no longer need to be put under the strict supervision of a guardian as useless as he is; much to ran's lighthearted disappointment. (he'd still pester rindou after all that, ofc.)

or it could also go the other way around.

rindou's the overly eager haitani, running to his older brother after attaining even just the tiniest of Ws, talking about his heroic deeds (which he may or may not have exaggerated in a way that highlights his own charisma very fancily) in great detail. ran, nonchalant as he is, acknowledges whatever the fuck his younger brother's yapping about with a single nod of his head and calls it a day. (this almost empty-hearted treatment would then prompt rindou into wanting to prove himself to ran every chance he gets; he won't waste any time, that's what he promised to dedicate his whole life to.)
