Here's another piece of music I made... I kinda don't know what the genre is so I just set it to what it sounded closest to. Future Garage.
So I went wild with this track. :) Experimental, triphop, hiphop, chill, LA styled... whatever mix of genres it is... it's one of them. Never really made music like this... I'm more of a techno person quite frankly but once in a while I thought I'd try a genre I barely touch on.
Also... I'd like to go to a party at the edge of the universe. That would be so awesome.
Experimental beats using Reaktor instruments and Absynth 5.
A bit of promo! A fresh tune from Justin Coburn, Tim Normington and myself, Part-Time Platypi's fresh new tune: These Walls. Something different from the normally super-synthy music I typically make. This time it's folk-alternative-whatever genre it's called music. Part-Time Platypi just began... If anything a bit of support gives us a boost making more music. :) And whether it'd be commentary, likes, or reposts we'd feel happy. Of course in return, more good music.
It's quite loud. Hold your ears! I redesigned the entire synth panel and added my own little knob for fun. Kinda broken still though... heh. Synth produced in Reaktor 5.8. Guess this is a bit of special post for this tumblr blog. :)

To another frozen shore. This was played using Boscomac's amazing Air Piano for Reaktor! http://boscomac.free.fr/ and... I'm trying to donate but I'm having difficulties with Paypal. Heh. Great sound though. Totally amazed!
The Last Train.
I guess being alone is where you hear sounds of the surrounding world. You don't know where the melody comes from but it comes from somewhere. You hear the tones leap through, the distant rhythm ticks on, and every sound blends and merges, diffusing into a complex mash of tones and unheard melodies so alien, so distant you can't describe it. It's this diffusion, the mixture of chords and resonant comb filters that sing some harmonic tune, elsewhere in the surrounding world you breathe in.
Skybase - Shimauta. (The Island song)... in 8bit style thing with a lot of glitches. I don't even know what the genre is. Tribal Chiptune? Either way, I'm not the expert with chiptune. I just like making stuff. This one uses a real treat from the Reaktor library, Trash80 - Digitek, which is perfect for generating chip tune sounds. Absolutely love it.
Forgotten Memories
Koda the ferret found himself on a desolate planet far far away from the place he remembers as home. Together with CFS-5132, the mini cleaning robot, and their best pal spaceship Galaxy Number 7, they go on an epic adventure to find their home.

Special post on just stuff I've been doing. I've made myself a super simple synthesizer for my own little purposes. Not necessary making it for public use. Either way the synth's got quite a lot of power, it does utilize Reaktor's factory macros but I've kinda modified them to my own liking. :) The demo's not really musical but it is capable of musical stuff of course. I need a separate demo for that. For now, enjoy some blips, bleeps and loud fuzzy sounds from outer space.
It's honestly a bit tough right now and I want to post weekly as usual... but it probably won't happen for a bit :(
Mildly Busy....
Guess what? I'm busy making more!! :D Just... takes a bit when I have other work to accomplish in such a short period of time.... Hang in there. You'll hear more.
