This is for everyone in black tumblr who is artistic. Drawing, singing, dancing, photography, writing, directing, designing, playing instruments and choreographing. Even if you don’t feel you are good at any of these things but you have strong appreciation for the arts, reblog and follow those in the notes.

Everyone isn’t going to agree with me and it’s not my job to save everyone anymore, but if the person you’re with doesn’t make you feel special or doesn’t make effort to take you somewhere nice (before y’all start yelling about how money doesn’t dictate a good time, please know that it does at times and I will not argue with anyone).. then that’s kinda bad.

Botanical gardens are beautiful. Nice restaurants are beautiful. Nature parks/mountains are beautiful. Spas are beautiful…… mfs are ready to drop $250+ on other extraneous shit so why is expecting to go to a place (shit even a night out at a carabbas grill) seen as asking for too much?

And why do y’all let these cheesy dick mfs guilt you into settling for liquor and little caesars pizza all the time?

Sounds harsh but you gotta expect more effort. If they don’t got it like that, cool. They can go on Groupon and get it popping but this is ridiculous and then y’all attack Black women who say “hey, you don’t have to settle for fucking on a pile of dirty clothes in his apartment that he shares with 8 other people next to a box of half eaten pizza he offered you”

I’m tryna be like Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, etc. You never see them advertised, because the product is just that good it sells it!

Tips:

Stay low key

Focus on yourself

Build on your character

Get your finances in check

Eat good! At least 3 meals a day

Include fruits and vegetables in your diet

Stay hydrated!

Drink plenty of water!

Try to Avoid sodas & drinks with sugar

Cut off Any negativity (people & habits)

Read a book ever now & then

Pay attention to politics it’s important

Continue to tell the people you love you love them, it’s always good to hear!

Workout at least 3 to 5 days a week! It’s takes about 2 weeks to get use to doing anything & it becomes a habit!

If you’re not passionate about whatever it is you’re doing, find ways to get off it & move on.

Start a “Will” you never know when your last day will be!

Make sure at least one person is aware of your moves, that’s very important. Incase something bad habits.

Talk to people! Networking is very important!

I will no longer give 100% to someone who would only give me 25% of their effort. I will no longer be with someone who constantly checks their phone when they are with me, using the excuse “I am bored”. I will no longer be with someone who says to others “I’ll call you later cause I’m with someone” when they receive a call. What am I just a somebody to you? I will no longer be with someone who doesn’t put in the work to build a future together. I will no longer be with someone who disappears for a couple of days and then texts me back. I will no longer be with someone who can’t return me a hug because their arms are crossed in from of me. I will no longer be with someone who doesn’t ask me about what’s really important to me. I will no longer be with someone who isn’t willing to cheer me on when I’m achieving my goals. I will no longer be with someone who doesn’t know what they want with me.

This doesn’t mean I don’t love you. This doesn’t mean i don’t appreciate your good side. This doesn’t mean I can’t see your potential. This doesn’t mean I don’t care about you. This doesn’t mean I wouldn’t want a future with you. This doesn’t mean I’m only focusing on the negative side of you. This doesn’t mean I can’t see the little things you do for me.
