When hearing what the other says, immediately Frisk is casting a look towards the dark abyss of a sky overhead. Very faint dots decorated the black mass, but they were almost barely visible from here. Were they even real stars..? Or was it their mind making something up to fill in the darkness?

Either way it... Definitely didn't look like it was going to rain.

In fact- Now that Frisk thought about it... It hasn't rained ONE time since they've been here! Not that they remember anyways... What exactly would make this spot different from the rest?

Surely he was joking… Right?

Granted, maybe this was karma getting them for being mischievous in the first place. But come on! Every kid has tried to sneak the password for the parental locks at least once in their lives. And the way Frisk saw it, it wasn’t fair that Kris knew the code now and they didn’t.

What was so bad about getting a few numbers so they could watch something new on tv? Maybe a scary movie?? They could handle it! Or, heck, adult cartoons?? Surely one couldn’t go wrong with cartoons, right?

But now here they are, being reprimanded yet again by ANOTHER parental figure. How many did that make now? It was bad enough Queen was keeping locks on the computers now too… Could a little stripe-wearing kid not do anything in this house anymore?

So, as to be expected from the totally unjust situation, Frisk is now pulling out the Pouty Lip™. And though they really didn’t want to give it back after they did all this work to get it in the first place…. The thought of Toriel finding out about this was motivation enough to reluctantly give Tenna the envelope they had in their hands.

Is this Real? Or is it just Fantasy?

Silence and a vacant stare is all that's given as a reply at first. The smaller human's hand temporarily shakes against their side, and their gaze seems focused far ahead of themselves.

They had finally made it to the king's throne room. They were almost back to the surface. It was quiet, peaceful, and yet somewhat melancholic. But something had felt strange when they walked in. A vibrant flash suddenly stunned their vision, like a bomb going off. They stumbled back disoriented, and as they froze like a deer caught in the headlights of a car, they started to immediately glance around and flinch, or duck out of the way of... What felt like fire. Something being thrown in their direction and burning at their skin.

Flashes of disturbing imagery filled their vision. Like flashbacks to something familiar, but something they were certain they'd never experienced before. And honestly? Thank goodness for it.

This terrifying reel seems to hold them captive for a long time- But finally, when they start to hear the muffled noises of someone calling to them. It's only then that they're able to pull themselves out of the strange hallucinations and back into reality. Back to the silence. The calm before the storm.

Now that they were back, they could see their friend trying to shake them out of it, and their vision focuses on them. Though their expression is full of bewilderment over the previous situation... They'd never had something like that happen before.

Maybe... Maybe this place. Maybe what they've faced up until this point... Maybe all of it was finally getting to them after-all.

There's a glance given around the room after they've calmed again. As if to double-check and make sure that it was really just their imagination playing tricks on them. Then their focus goes back to Chara. And it felt like their heart was beating out of their chest. But eventually they give a slight nod of their head as if to assure them that they were okay.

what if during the portion of the game where kris / susie / ralsei are all playing the video game together

frisk tugs tenna's shirt and points to the tv bc they wanna play too

but he's trying his best not to let them get TOO involved in what's going on bc theyre very little and hes soft (plus he doesnt have a character made for them bc how was he supposed to know that they would be here too??)

so instead of trying to stop the game to make a new character for them, he gives them a controller that isn't plugged into anything and tells them that they're controlling kris' character for now

It's even worse when you are already a child prone to grabbing random things off the ground and hoarding them away in your room like a little gremlin anyways.

This was never going to end well.

so safe to say i do not have the same laptop i did 4 years ago,,, all my icons are gone-zo as well as my photoshop stuff

and like… while saving the world seemed important for Kris, sure. I like to think THAT was the real pushing factor or motivation for them to get to the fountain as fast as possible

like holy shit if mom finds out I let my baby sibling get taken I’m gonna be screwed

so not only has Kris’ mom been taken at some point but so has frisk
