He knew the song and dance by this point. Tenna would go live on a late-night segment, wear something slightly more revealing, and make the esteemed archaeology professor flustered from his seat in the audience. Tenna could make any excuse he wanted to, such as saying it was to set the mood, or to catch the eyes of his viewers (excluding Layton himself from this equation). While those could've been true, there was still the truth that Tenna wanted to make himself stand out just for him. Fortunately for him, he succeeded in everything he wanted to do.
Layton's foot tapped against the floor of Tenna's office, sitting patiently on the sofa there as he waited for the television host to round his way from his dressing room and pick him up to take him back home. The professor had his arms crossed, not in any sort of negativity or something to that extent. He was simply thinking, and by thinking he meant replaying some scenes of Tenna as he was tonight. He'd made it pretty well known that he found the host attractive in any way he presented himself, but tonight... wow. That's all he could rationalize; just, wow.
The sound of the doorknob clicking and turning made the professor's eyes widen. As soon as the door closed, Layton stood and approached Tenna.
"Hello, my love," Layton began, his tone rich and sweet like honey. His eyes fluttered cutely as he let out a warm chuckle. The smile on his face began to curl into a small smirk. "I see you were trying to catch my attention now, weren't you? You already always have it, Tenna, or did you want to show me something special with your performance tonight?" There was nothing out of the ordinary about it outside of Tenna's choice of dress, but the semantics didn't matter now.
"Let me sing you your praises, darling." At the moment he didn't plan on whispering to him sweet nothings. Instead, he had kisses in mind. He hoped Tenna didn't mind as he picked up one of his hands and brought it to his lips. He kissed his palm, then his knuckles, and then slowly began trailing his lips all over the host's arm. Each kiss was soft, yet passionate in their delivery.
A kiss to his shoulder, then to the side of his neck, and then he pulled away. The professor watched all the ways Tenna's face changed due to the surge of emotions running through him. Layton hummed and closed his eyes, bringing himself to press his lips against his screen. This was the longest of them all, and he only pulled away when he needed to breathe.
Layton chuckled bashfully, his cheeks all red and his index fingertips pressing against each other. "We best be getting home now, hmm?"
