                   Nagamasa raised an eyebrow. Who was this stranger who had started walking beside him all of a sudden ? Nagamasa wondered whether he needed to reconsider going straight to Ichi’s townhouse. However, this stranger was a woman. In addition, she’d stated her intentions to follow him up front. She could’ve been sneaky and followed Nagamasa from behind without ever speaking to him. It couldn’t hurt to at least guide her to Cotes, right ?

                    ❛❛ That’s fine, but…who are you ? Do you have some sort of business in Cotes Ward ? ❜❜ It was fine if she didn’t. However, the fact that they were both heading to Cotes Ward at the same time couldn’t be a coincidence, right ? Nagamasa at least harbored some doubts.

To know the whole Spirale, one has to follow anyone heading to an unknown ward, for Apollonia. Probably, she’d do anything to explore the place knowing that she’s using a wooden sword and a toy gun in her arsenal. Meeting with his wife is just optional for her. As long as she knows to retrack, that is fine for her.

It was normal for the other to be doubtful, though. Very normal.

                    ❛❛ It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Lady Vaar. ❜❜ Neither the woman’s name nor the place she’d come from meant anything to him. They both sounded foreign, but where was she from ? And then she’d called herself the ‘Black Knight’. He hoped that that was a title others had given her, not something she’d made up for herself. Katsuie couldn’t escape from the shame he felt whenever he remembered being the ‘Ghost King’.

                    ❛❛ The Land of the Rising Sun, huh…well, to start with, it is a place inhabited by many different people. Some are farmers, others are merchants, and the ones commanding them all are samurai. Although there is an emperor of the Land of the Rising Sun, he has no real military might. That power belongs to many different clans, all of whom seek to claim the nation for themselves. ❜❜

                    ❛❛ By the way, what is this ‘Skydom’ of which you speak ? Where is it located ? ❜❜ It couldn’t be some sort of kingdom in the sky, right ? That would’ve been impossible for mere human beings to accomplish. What was more likely was that they were a group of people who worshipped sky deities, or something like that.

“Apollo is fine. No need for such necessary formalities.” Her nickname, Apollo was supposed to be chosen by those very close to her but she will have to let that exclusivity go. Now on, those she met is fine to call her in that name. Her title as Black Knight is no lie, she earned it with blood, sweat and dangers, not a measly title to be stained with nonsense. Now she hears about his world very carefully.

“Samurai commands them, leaving the emperor powerless, making them a puppet.” Ironic that the emperor should be the one ruling them but instead, it was various clans fighting it over on who to rule worthy in his world. It sounded rural but knowing his world could be a continent country in land, not in a form of a floating island. Yes, that makes sense for real.

djeeta stares, her expression of recognition fading into thought with furrowed brows. the captain couldn’t recall anything about her that changed drastically. she still has blonde hair and kept it in its usual style aside from a different hair accessory. her eyes are still brown last she checked in the mirror that morning.

she recognizes the black knight, but how is it that she doesn’t recognize her? she’s too serious of a knight to try and pull a prank. 

“We’re at Spirale University,” she answers finally with a small smile. “In the Golden Ward. But, if you’re looking for another answer to what this island is exactly, I couldn’t tell you, Apollo. It’s still a mystery to me.”

Being new to this place without even providing a free map for those arrived? The audacity of those captors. Only thing that matters is this captain is from the same world Apollonia lived in... or something. But the only thing at least is Djeeta knew a few things about Spirale.

So this was a university? Never seen one of those before or only just her.

There is indeed a university around Golden Ward as how Djeeta told. Only to be looked at and back to the ‘captain’  “So this is Golden Ward.” Maybe the ward’s theme didn’t remind of everything. Djeeta calling ‘Apollo’ though merely bothered her a little because only a few and those close to her called that but does that matter? No, it doesn’t. Back to the current.

Just when he thought he was going to have a good time busting some perps, this woman went ham and defended herself instead. By the time Jason arrived to help out, the woman already knocked the men out and seemed to be fine. Jason halted, standing right next to her, peering down at the unconscious men and scowling a little, disappointed he didn’t get to kick ass.

“You work fast.” Jason remarks, peering up at the woman with a brow raised, although  partially hidden by his mask. “They really had no chance, did they? You’re amazing!”

In contrary, she had done this many times in her world that she kills as well. The wooden sword and the BB gun were merciful weapons. If she had Blutgang and her trusted shotgun, this would have ended in a bloody way that she doesn’t need to siphon someone’s life force. Wounded? She’s not.

“I see.” At least she had learned the name of this strange place. However, any further information would need to be sought out, either from books or other residents.

This was going to take a while.

“…skydom? Is that the nation you hail from?” It didn’t sound like any of the nations in her world, which led Sara to determine that the woman she spoke to was from somewhere entirely different. Another world, perhaps?

“A world, exactly. Something like floating ships, islands and the blue skies.” She only tells the small tidbits of her world as it was not a full thing. Her world was known for primal beasts, skyfarers and such. After all, she was born at Auguste with Eugen and her mother there who was deceased.

                    ❛❛ I see. ❜❜ Katsuie hadn’t planned to ask that question, but he’d accept the stranger’s answer anyways. What had actually caught his attention were the items tied around the woman’s waist. A gun and a sword…it reminded him of Lord Nobunaga’s own weapons. However, instead of a shotgun, something similar to one of Lady Nohime’s pistols was in its place. Regardless, this stranger was starting to fill with him with a sense of foreboding.

                    ❛❛ I…would not call myself a newcomer, but I did arrive in this city recently. I believe it has been about two months since I was brought here. ❜❜ Katsuie’s wooden naginata would be useless in a fight, especially against a gun. If he exchanged information with this woman, could the two of them stay on friendly terms ? True, he wasn’t a social person, and he didn’t have any sort of charisma. But could he at least carry on a conversation long enough to secure his own safety ?

“Two months. That’s understandable as i was here recently.” That is quite fair for those stayed for a month or more. Apollonia was trying to get used of this place, knowing that the skydom was very different to here hence flatlanded or not the one of her home world. 

She had no plan on violent interactions, so she will be fine on befriending as long as not getting in her way or getting in her bad side.

“Land of the Rising Sun...” She needed time to think but that place was out of her range. So, people from other worlds were here for some kind of a social experiment? How strange. Apollonia heard his introductory name, maybe she should introduce herself. “Apollonia Vaar. I came from the skydom under the alias of ‘Black Knight’.” When she tells him her name and place, her eyes are focused on him.

“FIRE IN THE HOLE!!!” There would be a siren, but sadly Pandorans see those as more annoyance than warning. As such, when she pressed the detonator button, exploding a massive section of something loud enough to shake the air and blast the slowly dying leaves off the nearby trees.

The blast was heard but yes, sirens are expecting to come over and see what was going on. Rag was ready and covering her nose, ears covered, that blast impact’s pretty powerful that people can fly when caught with it.

Oh Polly, those were words a wise man would have been motioning for.you to not say. Sadly he’s in another system in another galaxy a far ass way away from here.

“Oh youse in for a treat then, pretty lady.” Tina cackled, digging out a remote from her pockets.

“So, that thing’s switch to see things blow up. Interesting.” Apollonia’s prepared when the smog radius might reach theirs as the rag’s ready to cover her nose.
